i don't remmeber the part where the doctor made the deal with ceo yoon and i pay too much attention .. unless it happened in the first 2 eps and i missed it .. what i know is seo yoon kidnapped and drugged him and later put him in the train station to catch gong jin wook so she could do the deal directly with the doctor if she gets rid of jin wook who is the one in touch with the doctor ... again maybe i missed something in the first 2 eps as i wasn't that focused then only peak my interest on ep 3 that's what led me to believe it is not related
now to answer what does he have on jae kyung ... let me tell you if indeed he's partnered with no gyu min like i'm suspecting ... gyu min back then saw jae kyung fighting with jun seo and telling that i know you saw what happened and so he thinks his friend died without getting justice and that is his revenge against the all of them .. he might've drugged jae kyung to hinder the investigation or slow it we do not know ..like you said the missing pieces will come together after we come to find out what else went on in the past and who knows it might be that tae kyung's fam is also involved idk tho ... and we don't know tho i would love a plot twist
