i think it was because he left knowing she's marrying another and because she knew it'll be hard for him anyway regardless whatever she says ..so i think although it was hard on her too .. she wrote it that way so he can forget her and move on... maybe she thought that was the best way .. even if they did some communication. she already received the wedding chest so if she wants to be with jang hyun she'd have to run because like they said she's now considered someone else's wife .. so no amount of communication can fix the situation ... and to stay with her family sadly she was forced to take that decision .. and to make it easier on him .. it's easier to forget someone who doesn't love you enough than a person that does love and soo she wrote that letter like that ...
