*Oh. Mo. Na* (as Sharon said it) writer-nim with all the spark gone from the fantasy part, you had ONE good-entertaining attraction going on in the drama (Sharon & Baek Hee)... why would you ruin that too? You completely turned OFF the sense of humor on these two characters that was the sole magic of this drama (well for me at least)... Sharon was funny + pitiful + lunatic but now she's just a painful-to-watch lunatic.
If you don't like Sharon, trust me you'll most probably like her as an individual character after checking this video! (๑˃̵ᴗ˂̵)و (her character is just misused in this drama lol xD) https://youtu.be/hZg3gQ64mvw
Of all the actresses... why Jin Se Yeon? I have no idea how this girl manage to always get main roles, I wave the white flag ( ̄^ ̄)尸 Another potentially good drama not going on my list *sigh*.
Okay Ji Soo of all the things that's going on in this drama, now I only want to see one thing next week! Let's see how on earth are you going to make you're adoptive father's (Seo Tae Soo) imaginary cancer issue revolves around you! Somehow, in your twisted own mind, you always manage to make everything revolves around you even if it's NOT and it's striking my last nerve. So for the love of god please disappoint me :)
I'm enjoying this show mainly because of Sharon (Seo Ji Hye), her reactions even when she's being childish is amusing to me (I bet I'm the only one here enjoying the so called evil 2nd female character ;P). Her outfits alone are the highlight of the eps for me lol. Second amusing character I'd say Baek Hee. The story had potential in the beginning (that fantasy part) however that spark is gone for now. The romance is obstructing the story and the main couple are way too plain. I think this drama would have done so much better if the main characters were Sharon & Baek Hee and the story episodic with every episode new customer to Sharon tailor shop bringing on new story. Tbh, Sharon is the only reason I'm still enjoying Black Knight so bravo for choosing SJH to play her.
The JH whom I've admired years ago is back! JH actually redefined JH the actor in this drama! A conflicted anti-hero character that I as an audience can't help but eventually see as a "hero" and root for... these type of characters are the heart beat of the entire show. Failing to master it means the entire show is doomed that's how significant it is. JH's technique to unleash his inner conflict through his eyes mostly, my god it's like watching a LIVE ART. His ability to harness the character's anger, warmth, insecurity, charm, cruelty and weakness in such a refined way... normally I'm against giving awards to actors in unfinished dramas but in this case for the 14 eps so far, JH owned that award. Bravo.
The only thing that keeps this drama beating for me is Do Kyung and the way he's challenging himself to start his life from scratch and prove his capabilities. Frankly speaking it's the only thing with a valid message and worth watching at this point. Everything else is draggy, pointless and annoying! Ji An's gloomy mood has been dragged for way too long there isn't anything bright or joyful about character thus far and it's been this way for quite long time (even when she's finally doing the job that makes her happy I don't sense happiness). I get that she's been through a lot but I'm getting tired of her gloomy mood, the writer milked it for way to long. Ji Soo is as annoying and selfish as ever even trivial things like her constant arched back is getting on my nerves now... no more whining scenes for her please! LTW's character is quite useless in this drama the writer didn't give his character any significance heck his character doesn't even have a backstory at the very least! He's just there to support Ji An and Ji Soo that's all. But then again that was the case with DK as well but thank god he has his own story now. I don't like any of the parents! I usually like at least one parent in a family drama but they are all "meh" to me here. Maybe the only love story I'm interested in is Ji Ho's & Seo Hyun. No idea why this drama is getting high ratings as it is... Okay it's enjoyable enough to finish but as a family drama lover the level of this one is below average. Last but not least, Happy New Year! xD
I 99% agree with this comment, but I have a question. You know the part where the pedophile is waving the knife…
Yes, I'll have to admit it's one of my favorite scenes in the drama LOL. It made me laugh so hard because it was a devilish twist that I didn't expect and it really fits her character so well xD However if we were to take it seriously, yes it was clear that she was trying to push him so she could run for her life. But, she in return has gotten what she deserves! Her plan backfired at her, she tripped and took the fall instead of him so I think that settles it lol (everybody took her for a hero except her boss lady xD). Seriously her character is one of a kind. She manages to be so devilish but lovable at the same time.
I absolutely love the way Ma Yi Deum is written and portrayed as a character. Drama writers, we need more of these characters in drama-land please! ^^ She feels so real! Not idealistic, not hero-wanna-be, not over the top naive and nice. She's a good person but she has that healthy level of selfishness which gives her character that sense of realism! She knows what she wants, she puts her priorities first but at the same time she's not crossing that thin line between good and bad. I really don't know how to put her character into words but I believe whoever is watching this drama will understand what I'm trying to say here. JRW is doing a FANTASTIC job even with her gazes and smiles she embodied the character and she's carrying the entire show!
Can we have a spin-off with the kids only? Epilogue is just not enough :')
I don't know about you guys but I'm in love-head-over-heals for ERROR ❤Ae Ra❤ seriously KJW is the heart throb of this drama! Dong Man is lovely but I'm going crazy crushing over her! I just can't begin to express how much I love how down-to-earth this drama is, for someone who is not a fan of rom-comdies... dramas like this one is paragon ❥
A killer gaze, impossibly controlled face and musical laugh. That’s how most people describe her. For me, Mishil is the greatest Villain I’ve ever seen. The wisest, the most captivating and a true evil genius. No one is like Mishil in her grace and atonishing aura and no villain will ever take that spot from her! Her quotes alone are full of aspiration and they will haunt you down forever.
-"For even if I gained everything, not being a queen would make it all meaningless."
-"What do you believe love means? Love is stealing without reserve or regret. That is what it means."
-"I was just concerned about you. I tried to gain this country by gaining the peoples' hearts. However you, you are trying to gain this country to gain peoples' heart. With that devotion only people can forment, what the most innocent dream you're aspiring for! (to Bidam)."
-"Sire, Did you say they who gain the hearts of people... will upon creation?! That with people by their side, they will rule aboved all ages to come?! People?! take a look, Sire! These are my people! Not yours but Mishils, my people! And... it is now, Mishils time to rule."
Thank you for giving her the first place, that's where she belongs ♥
To those who believe that the kiss scene in ep. 30 is unrealistic and forced I thought I'd share this link to prove that it did happen in "reality" when a coordinator kissed an actor in the set just for the sake of a scene.
This happened while filming the movie A Moment to Remember for actor Jung Woo Sung. The coordinator (my guess his manager) apparently was the one with the best "lips" in the set so she was asked to do it. As you see from the pics it's exactly as it was shown in the drama leaving kiss marks on his face for the sake of the scene.
Please keep in mind that I'm not justifying anything I merely stating facts in case some of you think that it was made from the writer's imagination and nothing like that ever happens, I'm just saying that it did happen.
As for the "siblings-kiss-scene" I have few scenarios in mind:
-The writer wanted to emphasis on the fact that such things do happen in work place (because it did happen refer to the link).
-The writer wanted to challenge the viewers and provoke them.
-The writer wanted to throw the viewers off guard and used this as trick to gain higher ratings (gaining higher ratings doesn't necessary happen when you stay on the safe side only).
-The writer chose this as a way to make the characters realize their feelings for each other (even if we disagree with the method it's effective and fast).
Yang Se Jong, wow what a young talent! I couldn't take my eyes of him, what a display what a performance... and for someone who is still a rookie! Impressive presence! Definitely triggered my interest. As for Jung Jae Young, he displayed the desperate father so well I almost felt sorry for him as an actor to have to go through all of these emotions for a role... finally Kim Jung Eun I think she's doing great! I hate her character already, the way she stares and smiles... bravo she's giving a whole new portrayal style than her usual. So far I'm in for the acting, not yet invested in the story.
Ji Wook is easily my favorite character for JCW. I love everything about JW, the way he talks, the way he mutters, the way he hesitate and yet takes action when it's time to take one, the way he is super honest most of the time and gentle, the way he handles the situation without putting anyone in difficult spot, the way he doesn't force anything on anyone and isn't impulsive, the way he takes care of everyone so naturally, the way he's so innocent but not naive... this list could go on and on I just love everything about him to the smallest details! JW is one of the few characters that I hold dearly he's precious I don't blame BH for falling for him. Thank you JCW and thank you writer-nim for bringing such character to life, JCW is casting magic here.
My favorite currently airing drama and the only drama I wait for every week. I like everything about it, especially the cast! Most of all my awesome girls Lee Si Young and Kim Seul Gi :)
Kim Nam Gil... I can't believe that my prayers have been heard! Just when I started to get into a drama slump because of 2017 terrible productions so far... and this happens! Please break *2017 drama cruse* Nam-Gil Oppa, I'm so ready for this :D
I'm just here to give you a round of applause for the cover pic you chose for this article! You couldn't have chosen a better pic than Lee Joon's clown-smile in Gap Dong ;)

Just my two cents, thank you for reading :)
I hope JKH finds the right script next time, I agree he can definitely do magic :)
