I've got to know her only recently, but have already seen her in several dramas, where she played cute as well as quite rude characters, and she portrayed them all well, so I am curious to see her in another drama :)
Well, its gonna film next year and then air in 2023 so that would be 4 years...
oh ok, I am usually skipping the parts about available platforms etc. as they are usually not accessible for me, so did not notice that reference, thanks!
I don’t really care about Kim Bum, but welcome back Rain. Just finish watching “Race to Freedom: Um Bok Dong”…
I believe the other comments are quite unnecessary seeing how this turned into a discussion. This was not a comment full of hate, ppl can prefer one actor over another and say it. I do not have any specific feelings about Kim Bum's acting, if I did I would believe I could say it here since I take this as a place where we can say our opinion, good or bad. Unless those are some super spiteful comments, I am not a fan of "just say you love this actor, otherwise shut up" kind of thinking.
'If Jeong Ryeo Won accepts the drama, this will be her comeback to the small screen after four years! She last starred in the 2019 series "Diary of a Prosecutor"'
Is the math incorrect here or am I the strange one? :D
The ending killed some story points for me though...why they made the ML hate the prime minister the whole series,…
another ridiculous thing was how they mention this competition about who will operate on the prime minister and then president for the whole drama, but then they go to the OP room and that action + the convalescence of the president took less than 5 minutes LOL :D like before they could not wake a person up for several days because it was dangerous, but now they perform a SAVER op on the heart and the president goes PUFF and he is all awake and fine :D
Okay, what a ride this was! This started out with suspense and tragic stories in episodes 1 and 2, then suddenly…
The ending killed some story points for me though...why they made the ML hate the prime minister the whole series, but then suddenly he wants to save him in the last episode, so he could try to kill him and his mother again *facepalm I just hate it when they turn a revenge drama into some moralistic stuff, for me it is completely acceptable when people just want to see bad people get what they deserve. Like when Jae Jun wanted to take revenge on the hospital director, and suddenly ML is not supporting this saying stuff like "so you called the police and you think it's right?". While normally people say you should leave the revenge to the law etc, now even calling the police on bad guys is wrong? LOL why just why I also did not like how the quack doctor hated Jae Jun, although she should be more understanding....I do not care that it was her father, she talked to him and could see how bad of a person he was. Also the president turning his back on ML + FL and covering for the prime minister, so he could send him to jail one year later due to some quote from ML, that was just ridiculous. I was pissed throughout the main part of the last episode :D Plus the amount of bullets they survived at the end, I think both ML + FL were shot, probably even more times each, but we got these "hanging-from-the-bridge" scenes over again where injured people have stamina for talking and hanging at the same time and killers just let them talk it out themselves :D Suddenly they are seemingly healthy at the end, while the spy girl had to leave but after 4 months in China and asylum request the spy thing is not an issue...like I do not know the system for such cases, but it just put the ridiculous end to perfection :D
Okay, what a ride this was! This started out with suspense and tragic stories in episodes 1 and 2, then suddenly turned into a comedy in episode 3. I felt like in the beginning the pace and the genre were changing a lot. At some point, it transformed into this "who operates better" competition and it dragged a lot, while keeping its funny elements though. However, I enjoyed it although it had its plot holes and questionable things. But the ending.... And Jae Hee was the Kristen Stewart in Twilight for this drama...she had like 2 expressions on her face, mostly it was this painful-disgusted face, while her intonation got on my nerves a lot. I did not really had an issue with the rest of the actors that much, though Bora looked better as a "tomboy" than at the end, when she goes applying for the manager job, but then wants to hit someone on the head in front of everybody LOL, that was just ridiculous
Rarely I am really interested in a drama after one episode, but the first episode (on Netflix, or first 2 episodes here :D ) was really great, it got me really interested in what's next!
I have just watched 2 episodes and not yet dropping this, but anyone else had an issue with Jo In Sung's acting? I feel like for the most parts of these episodes he had 2 expressions on his face, one was arrogant and the other one was having this half-open-mouth face with his lower teeth out for several minutes, with close-ups on him and all...I have found this very funny, if not annoying... On the other hand, Song Hye Kyo's acting is great so far, and this is my first time seeing her in a drama (yes, I know she is super famous, I just tend not to watch the super famous dramas right away as my priority).
This drama's pace changed every time, once I was on the edge watching suspenseful scenes, another time I was watching…
Like she finally escapes, hides away, comes back and suddenly everything is going according to her plan, only for her to be getting poisoned slowly in the end...but suddenly we have a happy ending in the last few minutes. I liked the ML & FL relationship, but I think FL was really a monster for some part :D Of course she felt wronged etc., but I think she was unnecessarily cruel to everyone, while for some reason she kept back-stabbing people like that secretary close to her? That did not make sense to me really. Plus Madam Lee suddenly plotting her own revenge because of her dead husband whom she hated (well, he was not really lovable). I liked Joo Won's acting the most, Kim Tae Hee was okay as the cruel chaebol, but I agree with some saying she had only few facial expressions for that character. I liked several side characters as well. like the 2 nurses (Joo Won's partners in crime :) ), Ms. Yeo in the house and the bodyguard. I was glad to see President Ko go because he was just disgusting character, not an ounce of good in him...
This drama's pace changed every time, once I was on the edge watching suspenseful scenes, another time I was watching a lovey-dovey episode of ML and FL walking around on a meadow or in river for most of the episode LOL In most dramas, I am used to the main characters not accomplishing almost anything throughout episodes, but finally winning in the last episode, here it was a bit different.
I'm part of that "old wave" of JDrama lovers who was so much in love with "classics" from end 90s, beginning 2000s'…
I remember being a fan of KAT-TUN and watching a lot of stuff with them :D Tho I started out with Yamapi, and although I was not a big fan of him, he was the only one I knew from my first drama ever (Buzzer Beat), so I was searching for more drama through him :)
Lol... Where have you been? Time to check out new doramas... ;P
nowhere special, just having life :D watching dramas often is not soo easy once I am out school and having a household :) plus I am mostly watching Kdramas now...
Hmm, although I am not saying this could not get better after the first 2 episodes, but I just could not give it a chance :D The predictable cringe scenes in the first episode were so unnatural and over the top, it made me think, let's watch the beginning of the second episode and let's see....well, I saw another cringe scene and the stupid laugh of ML was just everywhere....enough, there are better dramas on my PTW list :D
This was really enjoyable to watch, suspenseful, I understood who the culprit was only towards the end when they…
But of course, there were several things that did not make sense, like who actually attacked the Hye Ran's best friend? We were supposed to believe it was Tae Wook, but then it did not look like it (he told her he is going to turn himself in), so was it Myung Woo? I did not understand why, because there was not really any point in it, and somehow Hye Ran did not feel angry about it towards Myung Woo? Also why he confessed at the end, and killed or try to kill other people too...like at the beginning, I was feeling sorry for him, but then he was probably really obsessed and dangerous, although he wanted it to stage it that way for the police to believe, it was the truth anyway. Also I did not understand why only after everything was revealed, Tae Wook seemed to be really unhappy and guilty, like before the detective probed into him, he was going to live just fine? (because the turmoil he was going through before might be partially due to this, but seemed mostly caused by Hye Ran and her lies / behavior) And then suddenly he gets more nervous, abrupt, and although someone else confesses, he kills himself? To me it seemed just like the writers did not want a happy ending for him, but unless others would find out, he would probably go on a vacation and be like whatever :D And it's funny how people are always hiding anything, even though it would not prove they are guilty, but it's like "let's just lie so others can use it against us later" LOL
This was really enjoyable to watch, suspenseful, I understood who the culprit was only towards the end when they were leading us to it. I have also felt a lot of emotions while watching this. It's funny how at the beginning I hated Hye Ran (but I guess I was supposed to), and then slowly started to change my perception of her (although not every action of her could be justified at all) and also the other characters were developing differently in front of my eyes. Let me just say that I really like Ji Jin Hee after this drama (have never watched anything with him before). Also Jin Ki Joo, I have watched her before in Twenty Again, where she was lovable, and here she played a totally different character, which was again believable portrayal. Of course, Kim Nam Joo was perfect as Hye Ran!
Honestly, I did not expect to like this drama that much when I decided to watch it. But this was such a great…
I just did not understand why they could save Ma Rin's life (though we are not sure how long they managed to live in the end and whether they escaped their fate), but for some reason Se Young's dad just could not be saved, or so they acted like. They should stay with him, not try to go to the places he should be in, but well...
Honestly, I did not expect to like this drama that much when I decided to watch it. But this was such a great drama for me, I understand why this is called a hidden gem! The acting was great, I especially liked Lee Je Hoon and Kang Gi Doong (I have just noticed his character has the same name LOL) and their friendship. Shin Min Ah is not a bad actress at all, it's just that I liked her character a bit less than the above too, because she was immature at times and tended to make stupid decisions (how can you get constantly drunk and fall asleep in the middle of the street, but are still wondering why ppl talk about you, like WTF). The character's development was really nice to watch as well. I am sure there were moments when I wondered whether all the stuff still come together and made sense, but overall it mostly did :D Nevertheless, what I really liked was the romance part, the chemistry was great and the lovey-dovey stuff were so natural, like finally let's not act like married couples do not give kisses to each other or have sex. It was really cute, and the comedy-aspect of the drama was really fun too. It was also really suspenseful at times. I hardly give a great score for dramas, but this one has 9.5 from me.

1. Unubore Deka (2010) (this was stupidly funny)
2. Zettai Kareshi (2008)
3. Ooku: Arikoto Iemitsu Hen (2012)
4. Last Cinderella (2013)
5. Hanazakari No Kimitachi e (2007)
6. Dame na Watashi ni Koishite Kudasai (2016)
7. 1 Litre no Namida (2005)
8. 1 Pound no Fukuin (2008)
9. Orthros no Inu (2009)
10. Last Friends (2008)
LOL, I have just noticed that the most recent drama I have watched and really enjoyed is from 2016 :D
