The scriptwriter and directors are awful in this series.
It's a bloody mess! The producers/writers/directors/youku need to stop adaptation if they are just going to oversaturate the storyline with romance. I get that its Youku's niche but choose a cliche love story not turn a revenge story and sap it up! I am sticking around for my girl Reba. Everyone else can take a hike. They did the same for Shining Just For You except the editing is a little bit better lol
This wouldn't be an idol drama without a delusional imposter like fake DZY to stir the pot. So sis is doing her job. What's not doing its job is this writing.
I remember seeing a vid about actors hiring crowds to pretend to be fans and sometimes multiple actors would arrive somewhere on the same day and just use the same people lol this definitely does not look like a hired crowd lol

Wang Kai too or Huang Xiaoming lol But Wallace Chung is my top alongside Wang Kai. I want to see her alongside some other actors that don't give idol vibes. Zhu Yilong is also another one.

Absolutely. In the hands of the right producers/directors/platform this drams would've been the year's greatest drama. But they wasted it pandering to an audience rather than meeting them in the middle - give them the novel but with adaption flourishes. I wanted this drama to really give us the full, brutal force the novel gave us. But instead they gave us a watered down. Tbh these producers/youku need to write their own stuff instead of wasting great novels. At least then we don't get disappointed
The minute Reba signs with IQIYI I am gonna scream because they are creating some amazing dramas both costume and modern. I feel like since they shouted her out on her birthday, there are some things brewing. Speaking it into existence!
