It's incredible. My ass was crying on the train and pretended it were allergies! Their romance is tragic but sweet. Again, we love a couple who put the big picture first yet don't abandon each other in their time of need.

I am rooting for this drama. Currently read the manhua so will be interesting to see the adapted screenplay.

Rewatching some of the earlier episode and I realise I have a crush on Terry Li who portrays General Shen Gu. Beautiful man.

But its still better than Dating in the Kitchen. That drama had very little substance in terms of plot line and execution. But both weren't that great. Tencent's lists were a bit weird. The dramas were just lumped into what looked like random section rather than by actual genre/category.

Agreed. Dating in the Kitchen was subpar in all aspects. Sword and the Brocade was better but not Drama of the Year. Not by a long stretch.
