I honestly thought the show was going to show how both the ML and FL grow in character and in their careers while also juggling their issues and taking care of Baby Woojo. I was hoping for us to see the baby grow together with them till he starts talking or something. And even with the love triangle, whether SML is endgame or not, then it should have ended two to three episodes back and a comedic effect of the SML also being involved with the baby growth whilst bickering as frenemies with the ML would have made it refreshing even if it ends up being a cliche.
For the FL my main gripe is that she should be spending more time with Woojo.

My main point being, the drama should have been centered on the baby and how he is the center of the ML and FL's universe with their friends and close ones being involved in the chaos.

I just realized that if you have not been already spoiled, how the audience perceive the ML is similar to the FL.

From him being a “gangster”, to a maintenance guy in the energy company to a CEO.

The kiss and him lying about it was the last straw after many lies and indifference on his part

I don’t know if I am overthinking but isn’t the male lead basically a blank sheet in terms of intimate actions like kisses compared to the female lead?
So he not being as good as the female lead in that aspect makes sense.

And in both dramas her parents are rich😂😂

They kind of show the dad’s longing for the mother in the drama (e.g. The dad staring at her number on his phone, etc.) but the way she treats her out of those moments is straight up red flag behavior.

Xiguang is the ideal for a successor, humble enough to know that they still need support from others yet arrogant and brave enough to stand up for themselves. Xingjie on the other hand he none of these qualities making him look like a whiny teenager who just won a prize because he had no contender.

I realized while watching, it’s obvious he really likes his ex wife but he does not feel superior to her so because his first love carries him on a pedestal, he is keeping her around.
