Can these two ever be reunited in another lakorn? I have been waiting for three years. Other people get koojin instantly even with little to no chemistry, yet these two were oozing it and still have no other projects together?
After watching Sai Lohit, I'm not sure I can watch Noa again. She gave such a bland performance, and as I already know Om is also a stiff actor, these two might be a too much to stomach together. They both look stunning but I usually have to have at least one main actor/actress be good at delivery.
She looks like a mix of Kim Mi Kyung ajumma and Ha ji Won to me. I could not stop picturing her as the younger version of Kim Mi Kyung while I watched her in Meloholic when she had her hair open. It became super awkward as I always pictured her as an old woman. Anyone else sees a resemblance?
I watched this without subs and it was enjoyable, but I really wish someone would sub this as I find older lakorns have a bigger emphasis on dialogue than the newer ones and I would love to know what they are saying in certain scenes. I can understand some thai from watching so many lakorns but its more helpful in newer lakorns as they use the same words repeatedly compared to the older lakorns that have a heavy emphasis on character interaction and growth as opposed to sensationalism.
Oh, I think I read this novel! The synopsis sounds very similar to the Chinese novel I read. If it's the same…
Hi, mind telling me the name of the novel and if it's been translated or not? I see the name on the information, but the Chinese name of the novel returns no translation results so I'm curious if the English name is different.
I remember I watched this almost 10 years back. It's still on youtube, but only up until part 31. Just search Pheonix's blood playlist or Luerd Hong playlist on youtube and you should be able to find it.
This is based on a book and luckily the book has been translated into two parts in English by an awesome contributor. Search on google if you are interested in reading it.
Ugh, another drama I would have loved to watch if only Artit wasn't starring as the main lead. I'm usually not that superficial with how the male lead looks, but there is something about his looks and acting that is really off-putting. I've tried several times to watch his lakorns since I like a lot of the storylines, but each time I end up dropping them as I can't see Artit as the main lead.
Welp, judging by the way the original was subbed, i'm going to be camping this page for a while before this is done airing and subbed. Regardless though, it will be worth the wait.

Yes to everyone except for Mark as Kawee (I can't stand him after his whole debacle with Mint). Plus, I can't imagine anyone playing a better Kawee than Ken, and Mark just doesn't feel like a Kawee to me. I can kind of think Jirayu might fit the sass aspect that Kawee had, and maybe do the role a bit of justice.
Which idiot thought 70 episodes for this type of script is digestible? I can barely keep my interest peaked when historical/fantasy dramas are that length, let alone a modern drama. At the most i'll skip through most of the episodes and watch select parts with Wallace.
I hope more directors/screenwriters try and condense stories instead of prolonging them uselessly, which not only can deter watchers, but subbers also have a hard time trying to tackle such ginormous projects, In some cases so many dramas never get subbed since no one can commit to that amount of time.
Yes, I was just thinking the same thing. This sounds very similar to Raeng Ngao except I watched the version with…
Raeng Ngao, the Ann version was really good, even the Janie version was decent (I usually like the older lakorns more as they tend to have more emphasis on character development and dialogue, and newer remakes usually add glitzy effects and stylize the show instead of using the core characters of the show as the originals/older version did), however, I'll still watch this version to see how they change it up a bit. I'm only concerned about the fact that they changed the name, usually remakes keep the name of the show, which is why I don't think this is a direct remake.
I've been looking for this drama fully subbed. I've only found that its subbed till ep 42. Anyone know if there is a site where I can watch the rest of the episodes with eng sub?
Aha, I was going to come down in the comments to say exactly that. I think there are 4 shows on this list that…
Sawan Biang was not my first slap/kiss lakorn, fortunately/unfortunately, my first ever lakorn was Jam Loey Ruk on crunchyroll back in the day when they started having Korean and other dramas on their site and since then I have never looked back. Both of these lakorns are my guilty pleasure as I rewatch them once or twice every year.
Sud Sai Paan is pretty good, I generally like period lakorns as I love the history/costume and I personally feel comforted by the fact that the slap/kiss aspect of period lakorns is more time appropriate (misogynistic males who feel entitled to get any female they want).
a lot of them can be found on youtube, some on dailymotion or you can check out http://lakornsworld2.blogspot.com for where to watch online or download episodes if none are available online.
