Pls do justice to the source material. The novel is so precious and my guilty pleasure when I need a pick me up and to feel warm fuzzies. I have seen the ML is other shows and loved him, but I'm new to the actress. Hopefully this is as good and not a wash.

Coming back to this comment since I seem to be craving a lot of these shows for a rewatch. Honestly so bummed about the current shows, nothing scratches the itch like the oldies.

I think you can watch Massaya on lakorn galaxy's website. As for Manee Yard Fah, I watched it on youtube, but those have been taken down ages ago. It might still be available for download if you search around. It's available in raw on youtube if you want to watch without subs.

It's the reason why sometimes watching dramas you see super old phones that date the drama.

It's also pretty sad cause his whole dorky vibe was off as well. Like if an older actor could play the nonchalant and sly character, I wouldn't have been complaining, but the actor was not only old, but also didn't fit the character vibe. He came across as awkward and tropey.

Just a guess, many companies have so many finished shows, they just hold on to them, some never end up airing. I just hope no scandal breaks out with any of the cast since that would be an official death call for this show.

The ML was severely miscast. The actor would probably suit a more mature character, not a teen prince. The voice actor they picked is also super mature sounding, so compounded, the character seemed really off, which in turn caused me to be disassociated with the leads and could not feel any chemistry between them.
Overall a pretty decent plot (since the novel is actually really good) that could have been better if they cast an appropriate ML.

It's not even a surprise for me anymore. People rate shows too high honestly.

Totally worth the watch. With so much garbage being produced, this one is a clean, well developed story from the start till the end. Onto your question whether the main leads has enough screen time, yes, they do. However, there is a caveat, the story doesn't only focus on them, since the story itself is the driving force of the show, not the individual leads. As for the screen time for the SLs, their story is actually very interesting, even more so then the leads, so watching them isn't a downgrade.

Honestly quite exhausting to get through. It's not really worth the trouble to watch it on random sites with questionable subs (I felt like I was reading a mtl novel).
What I liked about the show was that there wasn't the usual beauty filters that I see in every asian show now a days (especially historical cdramas). I could actually sometimes see pores and god forbid, peoples skin wasn't pasty white, but a healthy bronze.
Aside from that, the story was also interesting and could have been great if magic wasn't the solution to everything. The lack of logic (yes, I put aside some brain cells to accept all the magic, but even the inconsistencies in the magic usage was off the chart stupid) made it hard to shut the brain down cause so much stupid is thrown at you that it gets exhausting trying to be blasé and continue the show without thinking too much.
The acting was actually pretty good, and I loved the small moments we got between the leads.

I haven't watched Thong Ek, but watched this as I was interested in the time travel aspect.

Overall a fun watch, the FL wasn't the focus of the story and the spotlight was actually on the doctors (go figure, it's the name of the show!), but I wasn't too invested in the medical aspect. Also, I personally didn't feel much chemistry between the leads, I actually had SLS throughout the whole show and wanted FL to end up with the SML way more.

Overall, from all the recent historical shows, I felt this one was the weakest in keeping my attention (watching this right after Phetra Naruemit, which was actually super enjoyable, especially because of the amazing chemistry between the leads) and wished they focused a bit more on the FL. This might be because I don't go out of my way to watch medical dramas and the romance not being the main focus of the show as well as the time travel never really getting much spotlight other then for the FL to chime in a make a bit of appearance in the story made me ff a lot. The later episodes made me ff a lot as I just wanted it to the end by that point (the episodes kind of dragged and I wish this was more of a 15-18 episode show instead of going into the 20s).

Overall, watch if you enjoy medical dramas as this focuses a lot on the MLs journey to becoming a doctor and especially on how historical medicines and cures.
