yeah same, I love angsty romances, even slow-burn romances are okay, and watching the trailer gives the extreme angst vibe. I really want to watch this, but ughhh, I will wait to see if the director changes the ending, although the tragedy tag is still up there in the description...
So I'm the only one who's rooting for Jin Hee and Kook Cheon Soo...... :( and still bitter for this one...
I stopped watching after seeing this ship go down, since I, unlike so many other viewers thought she had more chemistry with Kook Cheon Soo and wanted them to be together.
The OST for this show is really amazing. Not sure how everyone keeps giving it such low score. I have been listening to the song on and off for more than 10 years.
Dropped at ep 2. I dislike the FL's character. She is so pushy and aggressive. Plus she steals someone's work and pretends to have thrown it away, that type of character is immature. She also jumps to conclusions and is unprofessional in her work. The ML, however, is a very dynamic and likeable character. I might have continued to watch this show if the FLs character wasn't so annoying.
It should have ended by episode 12, everything else felt like a huge filler and was prettyboring
This is exactly what I was thinking from the very first episode. This type of drama, and the story did not have to be 16 episodes. TBH I think they should have rounded this at ep 9 or 10 and that would have a been a solid story. The addition of the childhood trauma was unnecessary and useless and just extended the story for no reason.
Three years later and this is still not subbed. I remember watching the trailer for this before the show aired and hoping it was going to get subbed. After waiting fruitlessly, I do not think this will ever get subbed, which is a real shame since the premise seems really interesting, not to mention some actresses in this are now really famous, so subbing older works might be good for new fans.
Who keeps casting Pae in all these remakes of dramas I love? WHY? His acting is mediocre, and his looks even worse (personal opinion), so does he have some sort of connection or something? Cause I gave up watching My Girl due to him, and will probably never watch this remake due to him being cast as ML. Make him a SL or support pleaseeee.
For anyone wondering where to watch this, currently, I don't think its available for streaming on any site. However, its available for download, so if anyone wants to download the show, pm me and I can share the link to the downloads.
ML was awful, Son is a much better actor in his newer shows. In this show, he was stiff and very unlikeable. By the end of the show, I was wondering how the FL can even like him. The only reason I gave this a 7/10 is because of the second lead couple. TBH they could have been the main lead due to how much more interesting their characters and story is compared to the leads. I would recommend anyone watching to think of the second leads as the main story and enjoy the show from that angle as the actual main leads are one-dimensional, boring and forgettable characters.
Glad to spread this awesome book. It's quite slow in the beginning and has a very slow pace throughout, but it has a very nice charm, just like the drama. Let me know if you enjoyed it.
jamster428 has it on her blog. She translates chinese novels which is where I came across this one and as i'd already watched the show, I read the novel to see how its like and fell in love with it too.
Just realized I've watched almost all of her lakorns that have been subbed. Crazy, but she is such a talented actress. I am not the biggest fan of her productions due to her casting very similar actors/actresses in almost all of them, and I have a strong dislike of Mark and Kim. I wish she casts Mint in a production soon.
I hope she gets a good break and gets cast in something good. Ch3 please pair her with Mario again, preferably in a fantasy/period lakorn as I haven't seen her in a historical context. She's probably my favourite younger actress alongside Bella.
I was putting off watching this show since I haven't heard of any news of a season 3 and I didn't want to start something when I know its an open ending with no resolution in the near future. However, I gave in and watched both S1 & 2 and am now cursing OCN for making a VD instead of VP3. Like why? Who was asking for a spin-off? I'm guessing NO ONE. Everyone wants a S3 of VP. Also, does anyone know if the S1 ending is ever discussed in S2? Because I seem to have missed it if it was. He jail-baits outta questioning in S1 for murder charges, but we never see how that was resolved in S2. It just picks up like S1's ending never happened. Also, if Bad Blood is some other person, then how do you explain the fact that the evil vampire dude had memories of being locked and experimented on. Unless Bad Blood is another vampire we have never been introduced to, that predates the experiments? Also, I thought his sister was resolutely dead. How can she be a suspected as a vampire when they found her DEAD body? Wasn't Min looking for the murderer, not the remains of his sister since in S1 it wasn't mentioned that she's missing, but murdered? I have soooo many questions that are killing me because of my curiosity.
