Im really enjoying this. And it looks like all of the roommates have some kind of secret why did the other roommate…
I think it's her child! When she was putting up her pictures it included images of her and a child. Plus, it would explain the mysterious eaten chocolates.
I think this series should've been 16 episodes (gives more time for them to be together, for realization of hidden…
I totally agree with you. I feel like it also would have given us more closure about certain parts of the story. Though I don't think we NEEDED more information about her family and his, it would have been nice considering how deeply each was affected.
And these dramas really do need to start giving us more couple time again. Especially when so many of us having been waiting ages to see Kim Seon Ho in a romance drama again. And the chemistry between him and Go Youn Jung was so good!
I watched a few edits and looked at a few photos, but I've quit doing that some days ago so I can experience most of the drama without most knowledge for the first time. But I am so ready for this drama to be out lmao. It's killing me
I binged this in one day lol. I loved it, my only criticism is that I wish it was longer so that we could get more answers. Though I guess having them aren't necessary. That being said, it lived up to my expectations! And I'm glad the ranking is starting to go up. It is definitely above a 7 rank imo.
Today's episodes were crazy. Just when things started feeling a little slow and you thought you knew the characters, episode 27 turned it all on its head lol. I knew RSB was scheming something, I just didn't know it would go that deep lol.
I can see why he'd react like that, but honestly..reap what you sow. He was shown repeatedly what kind of person…
I totally agree with you. I'm just analyzing his character a bit more and understanding where they are coming from and how they ended up the way they are. But I'm a sole believer that just because you understand someone's actions does not excuse them.
BYS is definitely a villain and really threw away morals and what is right because of a woman who he already knew deep down and even in the direct face of it was not a good person.
Not sure if you saw Ep. 26 so don't read it if you didn't but:He didn't go after the whole family because he hated…
I did watch episode 26. I posted this after catching to everything.
I know that BYS told Yunshu that he was going after her family knowing how she values it, but in the same episode beforehand he stated that to Yunxi's ex (I can't remember his name) that all the Rong women are cunning and messed up (and ofc her ex defended her because she isn't actually blackhearted) as part of the reason he has no remorse going after the family as a whole.
Also, I can understand Yunxi's actions and the reasons behind them. But it doesn't negate everything else that she has done and the fact she did technically abandon them, unable to acknowledge her own daughter because she did choose the Rong family. Something stated in previous episodes. I'm not saying she's evil, I dont think that at all but the Rong's do do bad things a lot. Every character is complex and not just a black or white thing person which i really appreciate in the show.
That being said, she is one of the characters I hope has a happy ending. I also hope her ex does too because he seems stupid, but not a bad person.
BYS fell for a woman with red flags, unsurprisingly got betrayed by her (again), and decided to go after her whole family instead of just her. I won't lie, it was giving some "I got hurt by one women, and now i hate all women" vibes at first. But after thinking about it, while i still think he's another party in the wrong I understand how he came to that conclusion. Yes, Yunshu was the one who literally drugged him and dumped him to die alone, however, in the earlier episodes he was both witness and victim to the cruelty to the other members of the Rong family (minus RSB). And we as the viewers got direct access and front row seats to how cruel and scheminh the Rong's can be, especially to their lovers and spouses, unfortunately. Even RSB acknowledges this truth, they were unfortunately raised to be crueler with each generation and it only seems like now the cycle is breaking. Though we see these characters developing slowly overtime, they still were allowed to get away with a lot of horrible actions that they took while many of the people hirt by those actions were not about to come away without scars.
So, I can understand how he came to this conclusion, however wrong it is. More so because he's competing against RSB who had done nothing but defend and help him. Not to mention he's working with a corrupted official who he knows is one. And lastly dragging innocents such as Yunxi's ex and Li into the mess.
Which, by the way, I feel for Yunxi but my heart really does go out to her ex more in this situation. He's stupid for taking their daughter away and to the damn governor's house of all places. But she really wasnt treating him fairly and I'm sure she knows it. She claims that he gave up on both her and Li when he let RSB take her away. But his decision to let her go, though likely wrong, also has weight to it. He likely wanted his daught to have come claim to her powerful heritage, but more than that to be reunited with her mother and family. And we know Yunxi was never really going to marry him aa she chose her Rong family and even planned to marry someone else despite her love for him. She left him and her child.
Li isn't just her daughter, but his too. And he raised her alone, of course he is going to miss his child.
Honestly, the show is doing a really good job with these complicated issues. Though it really can be chopped up to a lot of these women treating others badly, particularly the men in their life. They really flipped everything, not just the women being in control versus men, but the issues that having all that power and disregard for the "lesser" that comes with it.
Right? We know it's going to make us suffer but it will be worth it😭
Absolutely. There's a naive part of me that hopes this director for once will give us a happy ending. But I've already seen so many tiktok edits and it isnt looking good lmao
I am so ready for this drama it isnt even funny. I know it will rip my heart out but not without giving me a good time first. Here is to hoping it releases soon 🙏
For a drama that received so many rave reviews and has such a high rating, I expected too much. The key elements…
Can you name some of the revenge dramas that you think do it better? While I do love this drama a lot, I am always interested in watching more revenge plots especially if they're well written. Preferably some with a slight romance because I am a sap lol.
