🎂 Happy birthday Aof!
Why the lad has retired from acting? He is cute, so it should work.

very handsome! you rarely see visuals like his on thai bls anymore. (i'm mostly talking about his recent visuals…
What is he doing now? He could have made an actor career, but rarely engaged.
On Make It Right Dec 3, 2025
They make it WRONG right from the get go.

Again we have a straight lad who has loved his girlfriend randomly discovering later that he wants to have fun with lads YEARS after it can actually happen. You can not make straight people gay, and vice versa. Known to any sane person except for nearly all BL series writers.

One thing i hate is misogynists. Calling Carrie a c*nt makes you the c*nt. Grow up and stop acting like an assh.ole…
It is good that the producer and director have decided not to adapt the part you mention because car accidents trope is the curse of sad, doom and gloom stories.

The film as it is, though very sad, is not tragic yet. Jonathan can still have happiness in this version, though it is just a hypothetical possibility. Shane can still grow up and learn to let go as it is clear from the film that Jonathan is going to leave Shane and Carrie together.

I am not sure why I see complaints that the film does not have a clear ending and accomplishes nothing. It has, the story is resolved, it is just not spelled out because this is a proper film that does not dumb things down and does not infantilise viewers, does not cheapen its narrative.

The last scene with revelations from both lads only reaffirms Jonathan’s intentions as he now knows for sure what Shane’s feelings are, there is no even the slightest ambiguity left about why Shane had fun with Jonathan. There is no hope for love here.

Though Jonathan is too much of a gentlement in this case, I almost doubt that it is feasible to refuse the possibility to have fun with the love of your life. Especially for a male because hormones drive you crazy, they blind you even, so to speak. I would not have been able to judge Jonathan, had he continue the practice of fun with Shane. But Jonathan is a really good person, incredibly strong-willed one.

Thanks for recommending this film, I rated it very high.

It is a proper gay film genre, not the silly BL drama genre, so yes, it portrays realistic characters that do realistic things in the situation they were put in.

Indeed, BL fans often hate female characters, but here Carrie’s behaviour is pretty natural and, however unintentionally or not, she has helped Jonathan to come to catharsis, confess, and, hopefully sometime after, move on to find a mutual love.

Many BL fans believe in fiction that love knows no gender, which is false except for the person genuinely being bisexual or pansexual. But even if we accept the idea that Shane is bisexual, which is maybe not even the case as he very desperate to not lose his soulmate and is confident enough to have fun with him to please him, then still his love for Jonathan would not just appear out of nowhere some time later. After so many years together, it is guaranteed that he would be in love with Jonathan already, if the lad is the one that can trigger it.

My conclusion is that I feel for everybody in this story, and I judge no one. Not even Shane, because the hell that the desperation of loneliness can give you is incredible. Yes, he is selfish, it is unfair to both Carrie and Jonathan, but I still can not judge beyond that, it is just too pitiful all around.

So, is Shane hoping that he can keep his friendship with Jonathan by having fun with him regularly while also loving his girlfriend Carrie?

if the lad is so lonely and disparate to keep his soulmate and he is a bisexual for doing both, then it is a controversial deduction, but this is what can be happening.

But is it not fair to Carrie because she does not know about this fun and did not agree with it yet.

Also, will Jonathan be fine with it further? He is getting passionate fun with his love, which is absolutely heavenly, it is a dream come true. So will he press exclusivity so Shane would only belong to him? In the film, he has given Shane to Carrie, and the last revelation does not change this.

I do not think that the ending is that confusing because of this. The future of those three depends on Jonathan’s decision solely, and his position was pretty clear. So I rated this film very high.

Review Love Sick Season 2 Spoiler
1. The key drama drive of the lad not being able to be together because they have girlfriends is not believable. Teens change boyfriends and girlfriends on whim with ease. There is no reason why the lads should be stack with their girlfriends. You do not need them as “beards”, either, because lots of teens do not have girlfriends, it is very regular.

2. Besides, the idea of the lads pretending to be gentlemen does not work because they have already cheated on their girlfriends, so it is useless. And they continue to cheat on the girlfriends because they lie about their feelings.

3. Even when one of the lads learns they the girlfriend of another has cheated on him, he does not inform his friend, which is absurd. You always tell your friend, if you are a friend at all. Others would have told anyway, though, so it all is nonsense.

4. Of course, the lad “forgot” to say to the other one that there was not just one teaching video, there were many with different people, so she could have been forgiven for a “mistake” — a single (!) one. “I only cheated on you with a dozen or two lads! I started to get a sense of slight guilt while doing the last dozen, so it should be obvious that I love you so much!”

5. Even after one lad got free, the second one has continued to date a lass for no reason at all other than to drag the plot. And even when he has decided to break up and was fake drama again with the lad being in doubt, even though he has never loved her. The scenarists have main lads to be annoying by making them imbeciles.

So all of those plot point only serve as a contrived way to drag the plot. I wish the author of the novel came up with a better, more believable solution for that.

Zee and Saint (Fighter+Tutor) in Why R U were great together and I enjoyed the acting and chemistry. Zee was so…
Added those series, too, thanks.

Meanwhile, I just did a historical study by watching Love Sick series (based on a novel) from 2014, the originator of Thai BL industry. It is mix of something realistic and soap opera level drag (I commented in the second season discussion). I can not recommend watching this series because of this. Nothing else new yet to share.

And, of course, it would not be me if I did not try to defend one of the leading lads (actor White) from the moral police that has cancelled him to saying a r@pe joke, with the usual thing of people not understanding the word “joke” and thinking he has called for somebody to be r@ped, so they can not understand the concept of intent. I know people are coming from good intent to the cancel culture matters, but I am just not into it.

To be clear, I personally not a fan of any of those jokes, and I do not even like the popular drama moves like throwing lovers against walls and striking the walls near their head. But this is just my taste (though it might be understandable because I am a towering hulk with my 167 cm and 51 kg. I suppose I am a second rate twink, LOL.)

1. The key drama drive of the lad not being able to be together because they have girlfriends is not believable.…
OTHER non-spoiler notes:

The series has maybe the worst first episode of any series I have ever seen. It should be studied in film classes. But if you can survive to the episode’s end, it becomes quite good later.

The popular dubious tropes are already there, including lads discovering their gayness years too late, one of them repeatedly claims he is not gay except for the other lad, sponge baths, a bad girlfriend to hate, and the necessity to get money for a school club, which has latter appeared in Why R U? and My School President, among others.

But this series still had a good number females in it and hetero pairs, some are realistically messy, which was the first and the last time, apparently. The story was a bit more mature and physiological than platonic GMMTV series.

The series also has an equality advocacy, which is not a thing in the BL genre after that, though it is also because Thailand was pretty good about this and has become even better since.

And it was “toxic” because the main pair was dating lasses when they have first engaged. Besides the ridiculous premise, how love happens, not just fun, is shown accurately.

I'm just waiting for the release of your next series.❤️
Looks like the lad is very busy with filming. Do BL stars earn enough from participating in series or rather via brand contracts to establish their retirement (not soon in this case)?

Age: 28I need whatever potion Earth is drinking, to be honest.
Jokes aside, it is just being Asian. Those folks have thicker skin with more collagen, so it looks younger for way longer. The same goes for black people, by the way.

R@pe jokes are nearly banned in the USA only in the relatively recent time. Before that, many most famous comics…
Wait, was First r@ped? I mean you mention the trauma. That totally changes the picture, if so, as it would have been cruel towards First.

But if he was not r@pes, then it is the same as with e.g. Hitler jokes, which lots of even Jewish comics had and have in their repertoire. They are not normalising anything with it. Context and intend does matter. Jokes can be offensive. In fact, lots of comics argue that it is necessary.

Of course, it is possible to disagree with this approach as you lay it out, but then we should campaign to cancel those Jewish comics, South Park (which is all around offensive and normalises all the wrong subjects), etc, not just this White actor.

I liked Gameplay actor lad since his first appearance in the historic Love Sick series, its second season. His looks are very sharp, at least in my taste.

But it seems like he did not get to play in any good BL series maybe aside of the short one with the famous singer Jeff Satur, who is also stunning.

Either he is not a good actor, or unlucky, right?

I'm still watching it but I agree the bl entertainment industry does overuse teaching the audience that love isn't…
You are right to question the “love is not about gender” trope because it is only for true bisexuals or pansexuals depending on the number of genders considered. But it has nothing to do with specifically BL, where love is about gender, it is even in the name of the genre. The idea that you can awake love in a person who was not interested in your gender might be fantasy some enjoy, but it is no different from the “you just did not find the right girl” talk some parents have with their sons after they tell they are not into girls.

Glad you enjoyed my review. I preferred Stay with Me to this version.
Do you like reading novels? People say the production team for Stay With Me has never even really planned for a second season because the novel goes insano style afterwards with warfare and something weird, which can not be adapted both because of the dubious story and blockbuster level budget it would have required to film.

As always, you give basically professional reviews, thanks. I will probably skip this series entirely because I am not sure which parts of it are meaningfully better then the 2023 version Stay With Me, even if the kisses had to be fake because of weird casting decisions.

I am not sure why there was a need for this adaptation at all.
