The cast did a good job bringing their characters to life and, although the intimate scenes between the lead couple could have been better, their scenes were just a bit sensual.

Mei Gui Zhi Ye (2025) is a miniseries that has revenge, romance, and mystery. The drama has Yao Guan Yu (as Bo Han Nian) and Li Ke Yi (as Xu Xiao Ke) in the leading couple’s role. The cast did a good job bringing their characters to life and the lead couple has very good chemistry. The drama delivers in the romance (although it is slow burn) but, for a drama that is less than 90 minutes long, the lead couple did great with their romance story. The revenge plot is also gratifying but the mystery about Xiao Ke’s blood is not well developed. Still, this drama is nice and entertaining, enjoy it!

The cast did well bringing their characters to life and the drama highlighted some aspect and difficulties in the lives of people involved in the entertainment industry. The leading couple had a great rapport but their intimate scenes, apart for some been sensual, were covered by body positioning and the couple lacked intense chemistry. Overall, the drama was nice to watch.

Both male and female leads have strong and protective personalities that show how deeply they care for each other. The male lead is very well written as a mature person that encourages healthy and open conversations with the female lead and loves his wife regardless of her demeanor or disposition even when she giving others what they deserved. Si Jin (2025) is a good rebirth romance fantasy drama with Zhang Wan Yi as Yu Qi / Yu Jin/7th Prince and Jing Tian as Jiang Si in the leading couple’s role. The series centers on a rebirth theme that develops nicely as the drama progresses. There is very good choreography of action scenes, great cinematography and OST. The cast did a very good job bringing their characters to life with al great performance from Zhang Chi as Jiang Zhan. The drama has a strong start, slows a little midway but it picks up good pace again until the last two episodes when Jiang Si goes to Nanwu in order to stop the war and work on a peaceful agreement between the two nations. Both leading couple’s characters are strong minded, intelligent, protective, and steadfast in their feelings. The supporting cast and their stories complement and flow with the plot; they also did a good job performing their characters. Zhang Wan Yi and Jing Tian show great teamwork and a very nice romantic chemistry through their slow burned romance but, even if there were some suave and nice romantic scenes, most of them were of the endearing and heartwarming kind. Overall, this is a good drama about second chances for Jiang Si to right the wrongs with the support of Yu Jin and a group of great friends and family and to also take a leap of faith on her relationship with Yu Qi. Enjoy it!

The Roses Were Immersed in Fireworks (2024) is a very good romance miniseries with Zhang Pei Bao (as Lu Ah Jin) and Peng Dai Dai (as Song Zhao Zhao) in the leading couple role. The drama could have used a few more episodes so the ending would not have felt rushed but it is a nice ending. Both Ah Jin and Zhao Zhao are adorable characters and, even if the drama had the usual clichés, the cast did well bringing their characters to life. Overall, this miniseries is good and entertaining, enjoy it!

Shan Hun Hou, Gu Zong Ma Jia Cang Bu Zhu Le (2023) is a romance miniseries with Lu Shan Dong (as Gu Huai Yan) and Zhang Chu Xuan (as Duan Qing Yu) on the leading couple’s role. The storyline is nice and the conflicts are quickly resolved; antagonists are not up to par with the leading couple’s resilience and desire to be together. Lu Shan Dong and Zhang Chu Xuan have a nice playful chemistry but the romance was bland and even if they looked nice and acted cutely together, their romantic scenes were uneventful.

Chong Sheng Zhi Jiang Men Di Fei (2023) is a rebirth drama with a very slight romance that has Hou Mingxuan (as Chu Qingce) and Xia Qian as (Xie Zhiyun) in the leading couple’s role. The story is more about Xie Zhiyun rebirth after she and her family are betrayed by her husband and her adopted sister. In her new life, she gets revenge and gets in a relationship with Prince Chu Qingce. Although the plot was nice, the acting is not that great and the romance is toned down; also the acting is not the best. You You Lu Ming (2024) is a very good revenge romantic drama with Liu Qing as Bo Wang and Bai Yan as Lu Zhi Ling in the lead couple’s roles. The revenge comes from both leads trying to find who caused the demise of members of their family. Lu Zhi Ling is a strong and calculative woman that seeks refuge under Bo Wang’s power and Bo Wang seized the opportunity to get back at his scheming half brother and his mother. Bo Wang is the family’s fall guy, a role that he uses to be able to protect himself and find clues about his mother’s death. As Lu Zhi Ling plans her revenge by using Bo Wang knowing how much he hates to be used, she encounters his rage but also his endless protection and, with time, they fell deeply in love with each other. The drama has a good ending but Bo Wang’s demeanor, as Lu Zhi Ling finds him, is an out of character behavior; a bit disappointing. Ai Ya! Huang Hou Niang Niang Lai Da Gong (2023) is a fantasy drama with a slight romance between the lead couple. The male lead Sun Yue as Huo Shao Ting | General Huo and the female lead Xu Yi Zhen as Rong Dai / Empress have good playful chemistry and some nice sensual romantic scenes. The miniseries has some editing issues and a mystery about her past to be solved but it needed more time for plot development. It becomes obvious that, at some point, the male lead has some level of past life consciousness that comes clear at the end. This drama doesn’t do justice to the main actors which did what they could but the plot is not well written. The drama intends to be more comedy and the end, although it is a happy ending, is rushed and vapid.

The Remarried Bride of a Little Girl (2023) is a rebirth story with leading male Zhang Ji Jun as Mu Yun Chen and leading female Meng Na as Shen Zhi Yi. Although it is tag as a romance drama, the leading couple’s romantic moments were constantly interrupted in a comedic way and, even though their love after rebirth was steadfast and Shen Zhi Yi was coquettish and playful with Mu Yun Chen, they lacked romantic chemistry. The revenge portion of the drama was downplayed and there was a very annoying woman that Mu Yun Chen was supposed to marry always joining hands with his equally annoying grandfather. Overall, the drama could’ve been better!

Shan Hun Sha Qi Tian You Ye (2024), also known as: Flash Marriage, Silly Wife Is Sweet and Wild , 閃婚傻妻甜又野, is a nice miniseries with a similar plot as Miss Unwieldy (Yu Long and Yang Mie Mie). The drama has a female lead, Shen Zhi , leader of the Shen family, that, after a traumatic injury, reverts to a mental state of a child. She is saved by the male lead, Pei Jing Xing, played by Li Bo Yan, and becomes his wife. As she recovers and regains her memories, they fell in love and became a power couple that helps each other steadfastly. The drama is fast paced and the female lead’s overacting of her childlike characters is a bit bothersome but it gets better once she’s back to her normal self. Overall, even if the drama is not great, it’s still entertaining.

Invisible Love is a nice romantic web series with a comedic flair. The leading couple, Li Zheng He / Li Xuan Bin (played by Sun Yue) and Lin Zhi Yi (played by Zhang Chu Xuan) has a very funny and sensual chemistry that keeps the drama interesting to watch. There are some mysteries regarding Lin Zhi Yi’s family affairs and her mother’s demise that come to light by the end of the drama and there is also Li Zheng He’s incomprehensible attitude toward Lin Zhi Yi but, at the end of it all, love prevails. Even though the drama is quite entertaining, the intimate scenes, although full of sensuality, were failed attempts by accidental “comical” events. Most of the supporting cast and the leading couple did a great job bringing their characters to life. Enjoy it!
