The Prisoner of Beauty(2025) is a mesmerizing romance drama set within a historical period. It has a great main and supporting cast with Liu Yu Ning (as Wei Shao / Zhong Lin) and Song Zu Er (as Qiao Man(Man Man) / "Xiao Qiao") in the leading couple role. The main couple married for political reasons but, given the betrayal of trust from the Qiao family toward the Wei family that led to the tragic event of the loss of the most important men in the Wei family, the marriage started with the couple being suspicious and cautious of each other. This is a drama with a fantastic “enemies to lovers” plot. The romance is a captivating slow burn romance that delights the audience with two individuals that, the more difficulties and obstacles they overcome, the deeper their bond becomes until they became stronger together and developed a relationship of mutual respect, trust, and intense love. The leading couple fascinates the viewer with their irresistible chemistry.
The supporting cast was also great bringing their characters to life giving the drama cohesion, comedy, heartfelt and heartbreaking moments that add depth to the story. Overall, this is a great and entertaining drama, enjoy it!

Kill Lover is a nice revenge romance drama with Wanyan Luo Rong as Qi Dong and Sun Jia Qi as You You/Qi Ge Ge in the leading couple’s role. The cast did a good job bringing their characters to life and the drama has great cinematography and editing, and very nice OST. The leading couple has very good chemistry but, sometimes, their facial expressions are a bit bland. The romance is nice and the leading couple has some good interactions and a few nicely done romantic scenes. There are minor issues with the drama’s with story’s fluidity but, the drama is easy to follow. Overall. this is a nice and entertaining drama, enjoy it!

Wen Rou Ye Gu (2025), also known as: Gentle Wild Bones. is a great romance miniseries with Wang Chen Peng (as Jian Yu Chen) and Zhai Xin Ran (as Wen Ni). The plot is well developed and the cast did a good job bringing their characters to life. Jian Yu Chen has been in love with Wen Ni since high school and he jumps at the opportunity to marry her when she proposed a contract marriage, but it becomes obvious that they are much more than that for each other. As the miniseries started, they have been secretly married for three years and they have a great team and romantic chemistry but, in the eyes of others, they are just bickering friends and business partners. As the story progresses and misunderstanding are cleared, their relationship becomes stronger and they are both very much in love with each other. This is a great fun, passionate, and beautiful love story! Enjoy it!

Title: What a Well Behaved Girl (2025) is a well done romance miniseries with Yang Pengcheng (as Duan Xiuming & Duan Xiuzhi) and Long Xi (as Lu Mingye & Lu Mingyu) in the leading couple’s role. The cast did a good job bringing their characters to life but Yang Pencheng and Long Xi really did great performing such complex characters that can send shivers up the spine. Duan Xiumin, because of his status in the Duan family, behaved like a care free person with deep responsibilities and Lu Mingyu, after years of physical and emotional abuse, learned how to masked her feeling in order to protect herself from becoming weak at the hands of her abusive family. It was riveting to see how Xiuming broke through Mingyu’s emotional barriers and planted the seed of love with his devotion, love, and fierceness protection toward her. This drama is quite impressive and entertaining, enjoy it!

Yue Ran Ai Ren (2025) aka Moonlight Love is a very good rebirth drama with Wang Yi Lei (as Fu Ting Chen) and Liu Nian (as Shi Wan) in the leading couple’s role. The leading couple has great chemistry and their feelings for each other are believable. Although the conniving antagonists kept scheming against them, Ting Chen and Shi Wan together became a force to be reckoned with no matter how many obstacles they had to overcome. Overall, this miniseries is very entertaining, enjoy it!

Pei Jiao Shou Ni Bu Dui Jin (2024) is a very nice adaptation from the web novel "Sheng Wen You Wen". The leading man Chen Zheng Yang (as Pei Zhi He and) and the leading lady Wu Yi Qiao (as Jiang Qiao) are both smart, quick-witted strong characters, and are ganuine with each other, and have very good chemistry. The leading man is earnest in his desire to be with her and has, for a long time, been protecting and helping her from a distance. There is no manipulation, he simply saw an opportunity and, once they got married, he would not let anyone get in his way in order to have her by his side. Overall, this drama is very entertaining; enjoy it!

His Lover Is Difficult to Coax (2024) is a great romantic miniseries with Li Mengran and Cheng Zi (Native name: Chengqi,born July 1, 1999) as the leading couple. The cast did a very good job bringing their characters to life and the leading couple had some nice heart fluttering moments due to Xie Huai’s (Li Mengran) forceful and persistent personality. Chen Zi also did quite well in her role of lead female Song Nuan. The drama is well written and both Xie Hai and Song Nuan have great character growth. There are a lot of misunderstanding about Xie Huai that come to light as the drama progresses and Song Nuan’s attitude toward him softens as she learns about Xie Huai’s difficulties and his steadfast love and care for Song Nuan and her family. Overall, even if his actions are obsessive, his love for Song Nuan is true and precious and it becomes more obvious after they get married and how he never crosses the line with her, even when she was drugged, as he waited for the moment that she was ready to be with him.

Fu Xian Sheng Bie Zhui Le, Da Xiao Jie Shi Jia De (2024) is a nice revenge plot drama with Zuo Yi as Si Nian and Ma Xiao Yu as Fu Jing Yan. The cast did a good job bringing their characters to life with the exception of a couple of actors in the supporting cast. The revenge plot is as cruel and satisfying as the wrong that was inflicted to the Si Nian. In this drama, both leading characters are smart, manipulative, and determined in reaching their goals while fortuitously falling in love and becoming a couple that share mutual understanding, respect, and a steadfast love. The leading couple has great chemistry and both approach each other with love and sensuality. Although the drama is not perfect and subtitles are not great, it is very entertaining. Enjoy it!

This is a drama that has everything to be highly rated (great acting, choreography, cinematography, music) but somehow, it fell short as the story progresses. Putting the lack of romantic chemistry aside, the acting is really superb, especially from the main cast. There is great character development and, in the case of Emperor Murong Gao Gong/Fu Wang, excellently played by Peter Ho, where his development can be defined as a convolution. Although the acting is quite impressive for the majority of the cast, a story of forbidden love needs to be portrayed with more passion, not the lustful passion, just the reckless, despairing, and torment passion that comes from not been able to be together. Maybe it is because of the editing, the fact that the show was trying really hard to be comedic, or simply because that the leading couple, even though they have very good playful interactions and they show great prowess together, they fell short on their romantic interactions. The story has elements of comedy, romance, great action scenes, sinister plots, and great camaraderie among Xiao Duo’s friends in arms. Overall, the drama is a good production; however, it would be more appropriate to call it Floating on the Edge or Fu Tu Tower rather than Unchained Love.

This is a fun and winsome short fantasy drama where the characters of a virtual game, Bo Ye and Yan, accidentally crossed to the real world after the game shut down. In the real world, Xiao Yu and Yuan Fan team up with the master of Bowu Sect to get rid of Yan, the villain of this virtual game. Coincidentally, Xiao Yu becomes Yuan Fan bodyguard and they become romantically involved. The romance is slow burned and the leading couple lacks chemistry. The drama is farcical and many characters are satirical and exaggerated, but overall, the drama is lighthearted and fun to watch while waiting for a great one to come.
SPOILER ALERT: The drama ends well since, even if the story was a dream, the leading couple has its destined meeting.

Age of Legends is a really good action suspense drama that has drug syndicates as the main plot and the main leads involvement, one through chance (William Chan as Liu Zi Guang) and the other through her job as a police officer (Sandra Ma as Hu Rong). This drama has a great cast and everyone did a good job bringing their character to life. The romance is nice and they showed that they truly loved each other dearly, but it is not the main story. The drama’s main plot is heavy laden with depictions of the lives and dealing of those that are directly and indirectly involved in the tug of war between drug dealers and the justice system. The drama is not perfect and it could’ve been done with a few less episodes, but, overall, it provides action, emotional moments, romance, funny moments, and it is entertaining. Enjoy it!

Chong Sheng Ci Hun Yan, Zha Tai Zi Han Wo Xiao Huang Shen (2026) is a nice rebirth fantasy romance miniseries with Tang Shu Ya (as Xie Yuan) and Yang Fan (as Shen Yao) in the leading couple’s role. The cast did a good job bringing their characters to life and the leading couple had an agreeable chemistry that led to a subtle and pleasant slow burn romance. Although there is only one intimate scene between the leading couple toward the end, both actors did very well manifesting their blooming romance through their actions and body language. Overall, this drama is entertaining, enjoy it!
