This is an exceptional drama! Superb wuxia with beautiful cinematography, fantastic action scenes, and great computer generated images. The drama has a solid storyline and it offers great moments that deliver a varied range of emotions. Everything is excellent about this fantasy adventure drama but what makes it exceptional is the actors. The cast performed as if every character was made solely for that specific actor, and they truly owned their characters! [Side note: The leading couple grew up together, taking care of each other and, in the process, through a fated connection, developed a pure, intense, and beautiful love.] Enjoy it!

You Xin (2025) is a miniseries with Zou Ke Jun (as Qin Yan Zhou) and Su Yutong (as Liang You Xin) in the leading couple’s role. This drama is another adaptation from the web novel "You Xin" by Ting Rong. This adaptation doesn’t show the amount of violence that Yu Xin had endured at the hand of her boyfriend Lu Yu and best friend Chen Yue Ying which is welcomed with viewers that can’t stand the incredible amount of violence that is persistent in miniseries. On the other hand, the cast on this adaptation is not very good and the leading couple doesn’t have a strong chemistry.

The One His Brother Loves Dearly (2025) is a very good romance miniseries with Bao Li Ning (as Qin Yan Zhou) and Li Jia Le (as Liang You Xin) in the leading couple’s role. The cast did a good job bringing their characters to life and the leading couple has a nice suave chemistry. Qin Yan Zhou finally has a chance to be with Liang You Xin which was expected to marry his friend Lu Yu since they were young. A as fate has its way to bring people together, Lian You Xin has an accident and fakes amnesia to tease Lu Yu who is having an affair with her friend. In order to have some fun with his lover before Liang You Xin gets her memory back, Lu Yu pushed Liang You Xin to his friend Qin Yan Zhou and Liang You Xin just plays along and embarks in journey through unchartered territory with Qin Yan Zhou who showers her with attention, protection, and steadfast love.

-Qing Shan Si Yu(2025) is a very good romance miniseries with Wang Chen Peng( as Sheng Ting) and Chen Lu Xi/Lucy Chen (as Chu Shuang) in the leading couple’s role. This drama has a good plot and the cast did a good job bringing their characters to life. The drama, as it is, is not complete since it has a continuation for which I provided two links below which have been posted by Jwells on MDL on the comments section. The leading couple did a great job portraying their characters and they have an endearing and steadfast relationship.

After the Rebirth of the Fake Heiress(2025) is a romance fantasy rebirth miniseries with Qin Yi (as Xie Yin Chen) and Yan Wen Li (as Lin Qian) in the lead couple’s role. This drama seems to be an adaptation of a web series that I have not seen or heard about so I can’t say if the screenwriter(s) followed the web series completely. On this drama, the lead couple’s romance developed almost by a the use of a magic wand because there is barely any time for them to be romantically involved. The problem with this drama is that the supporting cast, even the background characters, have too much screen presence and dialogue. Overall, the lead couple’s actors, who gave glimpses of a good rapport and romantic chemistry, was not given a good platform tender, emotional, and romantic plot to developed properly. (Although knowing what music lyrics are is nice, they should not be shown if it takes away from dialogues’ subtitles).

Gong Ni Lan Qing Kong(2025) is a nice romance miniseries with Yao Guan Yu a(s Qin Si Yan) and Peng Yao (as Lin Kong Yu) in the leading couple’s role. The plot is nice but the drama feels more like just seen edited snippets of a whole drama. Yao Guan Yu did very well bringing his character to life and he kept the romantic vibe on a good note; but Peng Yao was not convincingly in love, she didn’t bring her character up to par with that of Peng Yao’s. Overall, the drama is not bad but , the editing process used to bring this drama about successfully, needed a couple with better chemistry.

MDL Title: Fu Tai Tai De Ma Jia You Yi Dian Duo (2025), aka Mrs. Fu's Vest is a Bit Too Much, is a very nice romance miniseries with Ai Hongchen (as Fu Beimo) and Han Lu Jin as Ye Xiaofei(Qiaofei)/Miracle Doctor in the leading’s couple role. The cast did a good job bringing their characters to life and, although the intimate scenes between the lead couple could have been better, their scenes were just a bit sensual.

- Yuan De Yi Ren Xin, Bai Shou Bu Xiang Li is a reborn revenge miniseries that has a nice romance plot with Wang Zi Yi (as Gu Lingan) and Wei Fan Shu (as Jiang Yimian) in the leading couple’s role. The female lead gets a transformation following her rebirth, seeks revenge toward those that hurt her, and steadfastly pursues the man that had loved her the most in her past life. This chemistry between the lead couple is okay but the female lady is written in such a way that she seems robotic at times; still, the drama is entertaining.

Fu Ren Bie Kou Le, Ni Lao Gong You Wan Yi Jia Chan (2024) is a very nice romance miniseries with Feng Xiangkun (as Fu Si Nian/Fu Zhong) and Sun Qianxun (as Su Yao Yao) in the leading couple’s role. The drama can be considered a romcom for its underline comedic tones. The cast did a good job bringing their characters to life and the leading couple has a fun and delightful chemistry. The romance is slow burn but it is really fun and heartwarming to see the lead couple grow into each other and formed a strong and steadfast bond.

Wen Ruan Mei Gui Lun Wei Ta Xin Jian Pian Chong (2025) is a nice Sci-fi action romance miniseries with Ben Wang as Ji Ming Chen and Hou Cheng Yue as Wen Yao in the lead couple’s role and is set in an apocalyptic zombies era. The cast did a good job bringing their characters to life and, taking in consideration that apocalypses genres are quite futuristic and requires complicated settings, the filmmakers did a great job bringing the apocalyptical feel from dilapidated settings, colors, wardrobe, furniture, etc. The lead couple has good chemistry and a couple of swoon worthy romantic scenes. The drama could’ve have more of the lead couple’s romance without interruption (maybe an attempt at comedy?) instead of giving so much screen time to the female antagonist but, in spite of that, the drama is enjoyable and entertaining. Yao Qing Li (2025) is a romance miniseries with He Cong Rui (as Gu Heng) and Ma Qiu Yuan (as Shen Qing Li) in the lead couple’s role. The drama has a mystery subplot that involves the female lead’s family and a romance that starts with a misunderstanding. The male lead seems to be completely infatuated with the female lead but, as the plot moves forward, the drama offers a background knowledge of situations and actions taken by the male lead that give glimpses of how deeply he loves the female lead, which has liked him since high school times. This drama is one that could have skipped the supposed “toxic” male dominance and still give the audience the anxiety build up with the use of the antagonists. The lead couple has great chemistry and the female lead is great in producing the effect of submission to his advances while still fighting to stay restrained since he “has an engagement” with someone else. The push and pull relationship of the lead couple is more an attempt to provide a noxious setting to the inception of the lead couple’s relationship, but one can see how deeply the male lead falls in love with the female lead that, after all, caused and didn’t clear the situation by involving him from the beginning. The leading characters are both strong minded and passionate, but their real feelings ooze deep love and tenderness as the drama progresses. This drama is good and entertaining, enjoy it!

Abusive Writing Heroine (2025) is a nice romance fantasy miniseries with a dose of comedy with Yu Long (as Zhou Yu) and Yang Mie Mie (as Su Nuan Nuan) in the leading couple’s role. The drama needed more time to develop the fantasy theme and give the audience a longer ending in the real world. Some of the cast were a little bit of on their acting but Yu Long and Yang Mie Mie did very well on their romance and have great chemistry. The plot is a little bit off but the romance is very good.

Limited Engagement (2024) is a romance drama with Chen Si (as Gu Mo Shen) and Wang Yun Yun/Cai Cai Yun a(s Su Mian) in the leading couple’s role. The drama is not really a romance drama; it is Su Mian’s revenge against her father for betraying her mother and her path to be with Gu Mo Shen. Su Mian navigates her relationship with Mo Shen through prevarication in order to conceal the truth or avoid committing to a relationship because of her past experiences. Mo Shen falls in love early in the relationship and is willing to do anything to protect her. The cast did a good job bringing their characters to life but the writers forgot give the main lead’s relationship a real chance to develop the romance plot wasting Chen Si and Wang Yun Yun’s opportunity to show their romantic skills. The drama ended up leaving the audience expecting romance and just gave a revenge storyline with no excitement.

Love Before Sunset (2024) is a nice romance miniseries with some action and a murder and suicide mystery to uncover by the leading couple Feng Li (played by Wang Kai Mu) and Si Yao (played by Yu Jia Lin). The drama is a little slow in some parts but there are some twists and revelations, especially toward the end that add coherence to the story and a romance between the leading couple. The romance develops towards halfway the duration of the drama and, although it is nice and it has some pleasant intimate scenes, except for one scene about a scar on his chest, the chemistry leading toward intimacy could have been better. Still, the drama is a good one to watch while waiting for a great one to come. Enjoy it!

Xu Yi Zhan You (2024) aka Intentional Possession is a romance drama with Wang Yi Ran (as Lu Bei Ye) and Hou Cheng Yue as (Jiang Wan Ning) in the lead couple’s role. The drama is okay but, for the most part, it portrays Lu Bei Ye as a lunatic without a conscience but, in reality, he is the only one with true feelings for Wan Ning.
