This is a really good family drama. The different stories intertwined well together and the cast did a great job bringing their characters to life. The storyline is about three families and how their lives get linked as the story progresses. The romantic scenes are not extraordinary, but the relationships are fantastic among all the characters. The Park’s family patriarch, Park Hyo Seob, and Lee Mi Yeon are really solid characters that were well developed and are showed a really great and enjoyable chemistry. The second lead couple, Park Yoo Ha and Jung Eun Tae, has a great storyline and did very well during their story development. This family drama has all the conflicts between family members and their significant others with a mix of melodrama, comedic moments, some bromance, clearly distinguished good and antagonist characters, and resolutions that brings moral judgment. Overall, it is a very entertaining drama. Enjoy it!

Story of Kunning Palace is a magnificent production set within a historical period to bring a well written and better executed tale of redemption for Jiang Xue Ning (played by Bai Lu) and the masterfully revenge plan of the male lead Xie Wei (played by Zhang Ling He). There are many and long reviews analyzing plot and characters that are true to the story so my review is to simply tell the audience that this drama is excellent and a must watch. The drama has a stellar cast and the cast did a fantastic job bringing their characters to life, but I must have to reiterate that Bai Lu and Zhang Ling He were brilliant in their portrayal of Jiang Xue Ning and Xie Wei, two intelligent, strong, and steadfast characters that were brought together by fate and became a force to be reckoned with. Everything is played extremely well in this drama; from well designed palace antics, great action scenes, a slow burned romantic plot with a prolonged building of emotions that burst into an unwavering, blazing, and beautiful romance, beautiful and playful friendship to heart wrenching moments brought by greed and betrayal, and all the way to a well plotted resolution and a beautiful happy ending. This one is a masterpiece, enjoy it!!!

Review for Part 1 @ 2

This drama is a GREAT historical production that should not have been titled “Love Like The Galaxy” because their love was not only slow burned, but also full of secrets, lack of confidence, misunderstandings, and, the most tedious part of this drama, Shao Shang’s cold attitude and distrust toward Zi Sheng. How a great love cannot understand Zi Sheng’s emotional pain, turmoil, and commitment?
Having said that, Zhao Lusi (Shao Shang) and Leo Wu (Zi Sheng) did an excellent job portraying their characters and, although their romantic chemistry was not very amorous, the best intimate interaction in the whole drama happened without an unnecessary awkward kiss in episode 36, really beautiful and heartwarming! The rest of the cast also did a wonderful job bringing their characters to life.
This drama is heavy on revenge plots, palace antics, familial interactions, truehearted friendship, occasional comedic scenes to lighten the darker tones, great action scenes, and amazing cinematography and music.
Overall, this is a magnificent drama that is worth watching. Enjoy it!

This is a very nice and well performed drama. The leading couple has very good chemistry and, once they realize their feelings for the each other, the bond just grows stronger and remains steadfast throughout the duration of the story. The supporting cast is great also. Li Hong Bin’s bodyguard is fantastic! Both leading characters are strong and resilient and willing to protect their love and their love ones at all times. The drama has action, melodrama tones, romance, and a comedic aspect that is perfect since is not over-the-top comedy. The drama flows fast and it is easy to watch since the conflicts are not long lasting and the resolutions are quite satisfying. The costumes are complementary and the cinematography is beautiful. This is a real romantic comedy where, even through conflicts, the leading couple remains true to each other and works to resolve conflicts separately and together for the sake of staying together. A true refreshing and entertaining drama. Enjoy it!

- Chi Ye Wen Rou (2025) (aka: Guarding You Till the End) is a romance miniseries with Zhao ZhenDong (as Wen Xun ) and Zhai YiYing (as Xu Xing) in the leading couple’s role. The cast did a very good job bringing their characters to life and the lead couple had a nice chemistry. The romance is slow burn due to the male lead’s unfinished business with his parent’s death and his fear that she could be hurt in spite of his efforts to protect her. Still, the drama is nice but, to be a romance drama, this miniseries shows the lead couple’s great feelings but it lacks on showing the audience a passionate romance.

The Prisoner of Beauty(2025) is a mesmerizing romance drama set within a historical period. It has a great main and supporting cast with Liu Yu Ning (as Wei Shao / Zhong Lin) and Song Zu Er (as Qiao Man(Man Man) / "Xiao Qiao") in the leading couple role. The main couple married for political reasons but, given the betrayal of trust from the Qiao family toward the Wei family that led to the tragic event of the loss of the most important men in the Wei family, the marriage started with the couple being suspicious and cautious of each other. This is a drama with a fantastic “enemies to lovers” plot. The romance is a captivating slow burn romance that delights the audience with two individuals that, the more difficulties and obstacles they overcome, the deeper their bond becomes until they became stronger together and developed a relationship of mutual respect, trust, and intense love. The leading couple fascinates the viewer with their irresistible chemistry.
The supporting cast was also great bringing their characters to life giving the drama cohesion, comedy, heartfelt and heartbreaking moments that add depth to the story. Overall, this is a great and entertaining drama, enjoy it!

- Zhou Zhou Ben Fu Ni (2025) is a great romance miniseries with Huai Wen (as Zhou Jin Xu) and Fu Yu Shu (as Jiang Ni) in the leading couple’s role. The story is well written and produced and the cast did a good job bringing their characters to life. The leading couple has a fantastic relationship and romantic chemistry. The romance is slow burn but it is really worth the wait! Huai Wen and Fu Yu Shu portrayed their characters with such finesse and accuracy that gave the audience a natural, suave, steadfast, trustful, and beautiful romance.

Kill Lover is a nice revenge romance drama with Wanyan Luo Rong as Qi Dong and Sun Jia Qi as You You/Qi Ge Ge in the leading couple’s role. The cast did a good job bringing their characters to life and the drama has great cinematography and editing, and very nice OST. The leading couple has very good chemistry but, sometimes, their facial expressions are a bit bland. The romance is nice and the leading couple has some good interactions and a few nicely done romantic scenes. There are minor issues with the drama’s with story’s fluidity but, the drama is easy to follow. Overall. this is a nice and entertaining drama, enjoy it!

Passionate Love (2024) is the somewhat disturbing and fascinating love story of the leading couple, Lu Lin Feng (played by Zhen Zi Qi) and Lin Wan (played by Quan Rui). Their contract relationship is base on a misunderstanding but both of them can’t help it and they fell in love with each other. even though neither one expressed it until they were about to break up for good when she is being forced to marry his nephew. This story and, especially the leading couple, deserved a full run drama; the plot is well written and the main cast did a wonderful job bringing their characters to life. What sets this drama apart, regardless of some disturbing issues in their relationship, is the fact that Zhen Zi Qi and Quan Rui performed their roles magnificently and they have a mesmerizing, passionate, and beautiful chemistry. Their most dramatic scene at 1 hour and 33 minutes into the drama is heartbreaking and breathtaking. Although some supporting cast acting was subpar, overall, this drama is great! Enjoy it!

Wife Above All is a miniseries set in a historical era that tries too hard to give the audience a comedy, action, revenge, and romance plot but it does not deliver any of these genres properly. The female leads are the dominant characters in the story and the male leads, which got married with ulterior motives, go to a process of learning how to become the right husband for their respective wives while battling a court antagonist, diseases, lies, and revelations. The drama is not well written for the main characters and one of the couples, Mo Jing Yu and Yun Zi Long , even after they supposedly fall in love and are willing to die for each other, end up been separated at the end in just an amicable and nonsensical way. The second couple, Mo Ban Xia and Qin Chong Lou, had a better storyline and it was nice to see them falling in love and supporting each other. The only well done part of this drama is the insightful and comedic side story at the end of every episode.

This is a very nice miniseries. The leading couple has good chemistry and the romantic scenes are very pleasant to watch. Even though there’s not much time to develop a great saga, the plot gives a good enough sequence of events, some good action scenes, and the main characters are properly fleshed out to allow the viewer to see their strengths and flaws with proper character development. The story is interesting and the drama is entertaining. Some of the supporting cast did quite well, too. Enjoy it!

This is a drama that has everything to be highly rated (great acting, choreography, cinematography, music) but somehow, it fell short as the story progresses. Putting the lack of romantic chemistry aside, the acting is really superb, especially from the main cast. There is great character development and, in the case of Emperor Murong Gao Gong/Fu Wang, excellently played by Peter Ho, where his development can be defined as a convolution. Although the acting is quite impressive for the majority of the cast, a story of forbidden love needs to be portrayed with more passion, not the lustful passion, just the reckless, despairing, and torment passion that comes from not been able to be together. Maybe it is because of the editing, the fact that the show was trying really hard to be comedic, or simply because that the leading couple, even though they have very good playful interactions and they show great prowess together, they fell short on their romantic interactions. The story has elements of comedy, romance, great action scenes, sinister plots, and great camaraderie among Xiao Duo’s friends in arms. Overall, the drama is a good production; however, it would be more appropriate to call it Floating on the Edge or Fu Tu Tower rather than Unchained Love.

This review is for Season1 & 2:
This is a fun and winsome short fantasy drama where the characters of a virtual game, Bo Ye and Yan, accidentally crossed to the real world after the game shut down. In the real world, Xiao Yu and Yuan Fan team up with the master of Bowu Sect to get rid of Yan, the villain of this virtual game. Coincidentally, Xiao Yu becomes Yuan Fan bodyguard and they become romantically involved. The romance is slow burned and the leading couple lacks chemistry. The drama is farcical and many characters are satirical and exaggerated, but overall, the drama is lighthearted and fun to watch while waiting for a great one to come.
SPOILER ALERT: The drama ends well since, even if the story was a dream, the leading couple has its destined meeting.

This is a good Chinese remake with Roy Chiu as Xiang Tian Qi and Tiffany Tang as Liu Xiao Bei of the Taiwanese original story “The Prince Who Turns into a Frog “ with Chao Zhang as Shan Jun Hao/Dang Ou and Joe Chen as Ye Tian Yu . The drama is nice and Roy Chiu as Xiang Tian Qi and Tiffany Tang as Liu Xiao Bei have good ongoing chemistry but their romantic scenes lack grandeur. The second leading couple had better romantic scenes! All in all, even though it is still a good remake, and it is entertaining.

This is a great entertaining drama! It has similarities to the “It Started with a Kiss” series, but it is a different drama on its own. Although the female lead is inexperienced in love, she is attributed with a strong sense of justice and determination without been childish and stupidly annoying. The male character presents himself as a person devoid of feelings due to a tragic turn of events in his childhood. The drama is full of emotions, the typical school bullying, fun and heartwarming moments, and good chemistry among the cast. Enjoy it!
