The Roses Were Immersed in Fireworks (2024) is a very good romance miniseries with Zhang Pei Bao (as Lu Ah Jin) and Peng Dai Dai (as Song Zhao Zhao) in the leading couple role. The drama could have used a few more episodes so the ending would not have felt rushed but it is a nice ending. Both Ah Jin and Zhao Zhao are adorable characters and, even if the drama had the usual clichés, the cast did well bringing their characters to life. Overall, this miniseries is good and entertaining, enjoy it!

Deep Love (2024) is a very good lighthearted romance drama with male lead Lan Bo (as Gu Xiao Nan) and female lead Yang Mie Mie (as Bai Qing Yan). Although the drama has a few antagonists that bully Bai quing Yan throughout her college years and a worthless mother that wants to live out of her, the drama can be considered lighthearted because Gu Xiao Nan falls in love with her from the first time that they were together. Gu Xiao Nan and his family are really lovable and sincere toward Qing Yan and, with his steadfast care and love, Xiao Nan broke down the barriers and doubts in Qing Yan’s heart who corresponds with the same level of love and care. Overall, this is a really nice drama. Enjoy it!

Xing Yun Shuang Bao: Die Di Mei Tian Du Zai Zhuang Qiong (2024) is a very good romantic comedy with Chen Si (as Song Yan Chen) and Li Ruo Qi (as Shen Ru Chu) in the lead couple’s role. Even though there are not a lot of romantic scenes between Song Yan Chen and Shen Ru Chu, their comedic moments are great and they have a fantastic playful chemistry and, the couple of times that they acted intimately, their chemistry was very good. This drama is really lighthearted, with two adorable kids, and a relationship between the leading couple. Enjoy it!

This is a very nice miniseries with Zhen Zi Qi (as Li Tian Que) and Jadie Jia (as Chu Mian) in the leading couple’s role. Although it is listed as a romance drama, it is more a revenge drama with a developing romance between two wounded souls. The actors did a decent job bringing their characters to life but the romance was a slow burn one, especially from the Chu Mian toward Li Tian Que since her primary goal was to take revenge for the wrongs her family did to her. Li Tian Que gradually developed feelings for Chu Mian and was always trying to protect her. Li Tian Que, due to his traumatic past was a cruel and cold hearted person, but he starts to change as he interacts with Chu Mian. Although the drama is nice, there were too many instances of choking done and that took away from the “loving” feelings. Still, the drama is a nice watch, enjoy it!

Zhao Zhao Shu Rong (2024) is a revenge drama with Yi Tong Ceng as (Lu Ming Shu) and Guo Yu Xin as (Chen Zhao Zhao) in the leading couple role. When Chen Zhao Zhao is betrayed and killed by her husband and her sister, she is reborn right before she is engaged to her husband and she vows to take control of her life and to exact revenge against everyone that wronged her and her mother. She joins hands with Lu Ming Cheng, her fiancé in this lifetime, to make them pay for their wrongdoings and, in the process, they find true love. Don’t expect romantic scenes; even though the leading couple’s trajectory to ending together is nice to see, the drama stays true to the revenge genre. Mr. Pei Loves Her so Much (2024) is a nice romance drama with He Cong Rui as Pei Yi and Xu Meng Yuan as Lin Jia Jia as the leading couple. The drama is lighthearted and heartwarming with a strong leading lady and a male lead that can’t be manipulated. The children are a super cute elements in getting the lead couple together and they were ahead of the adults with their intelligence and antics. The leading couple has a great playful chemistry and understanding of each other but their romance lacks on the intimacy department. Still, the drama is entertaining. Enjoy it! His Moonlight (2024) is a very good romance drama with Liu Qing as Li Ze Yuan and Zhang Shan as Xu Qing Huan/ in the lead couple’s roles. It is a story of betrayal and the attempt assassination of Xu Qing Huan who, due to trying to escape a fire, hits her head and loses her memory but it’s declared dead. Time passes and Li Ze Yuan comes back from studying abroad and meets Su Jiu Ling who strikingly resembles his beloved Qing Huan. Wu Zhichun, a selfish friend who saves her life, keeps her true identity hidden while dreaming of a romantic relationship with her and the antagonists start trying to kill Su Jiu Ling (Qing Huan) all over again. While becoming involved with Ze Yuan, who strongly believes Jiu Ling is his Qing Huan, and her stepmother and stepsister’s new attempts at her life, Qing Huan is protected by Ze Yuan and Wu Zhichun as she starts to recover her past memories. You You Lu Ming (2024) is a very good revenge romantic drama with Liu Qing as Bo Wang and Bai Yan as Lu Zhi Ling in the lead couple’s roles. The revenge comes from both leads trying to find who caused the demise of members of their family. Lu Zhi Ling is a strong and calculative woman that seeks refuge under Bo Wang’s power and Bo Wang seized the opportunity to get back at his scheming half brother and his mother. Bo Wang is the family’s fall guy, a role that he uses to be able to protect himself and find clues about his mother’s death. As Lu Zhi Ling plans her revenge by using Bo Wang knowing how much he hates to be used, she encounters his rage but also his endless protection and, with time, they fell deeply in love with each other. The drama has a good ending but Bo Wang’s demeanor, as Lu Zhi Ling finds him, is an out of character behavior; a bit disappointing. Ai Ya! Huang Hou Niang Niang Lai Da Gong (2023) is a fantasy drama with a slight romance between the lead couple. The male lead Sun Yue as Huo Shao Ting | General Huo and the female lead Xu Yi Zhen as Rong Dai / Empress have good playful chemistry and some nice sensual romantic scenes. The miniseries has some editing issues and a mystery about her past to be solved but it needed more time for plot development. It becomes obvious that, at some point, the male lead has some level of past life consciousness that comes clear at the end. This drama doesn’t do justice to the main actors which did what they could but the plot is not well written. The drama intends to be more comedy and the end, although it is a happy ending, is rushed and vapid.

Shan Hun Sha Qi Tian You Ye (2024), also known as: Flash Marriage, Silly Wife Is Sweet and Wild , 閃婚傻妻甜又野, is a nice miniseries with a similar plot as Miss Unwieldy (Yu Long and Yang Mie Mie). The drama has a female lead, Shen Zhi , leader of the Shen family, that, after a traumatic injury, reverts to a mental state of a child. She is saved by the male lead, Pei Jing Xing, played by Li Bo Yan, and becomes his wife. As she recovers and regains her memories, they fell in love and became a power couple that helps each other steadfastly. The drama is fast paced and the female lead’s overacting of her childlike characters is a bit bothersome but it gets better once she’s back to her normal self. Overall, even if the drama is not great, it’s still entertaining.

Tian Cai San Bao, Gao Leng Die Di Shi Ba Zong could have been a good drama if it was not for the fact that it is incomplete; there is no ending with resolution about anything at all! Don’t waste your time! Although there is more, the following issues are unresolved:
1. The male lead didn’t trust his wife and, although he was investigating, he put her in a place without even caring since he didn’t even know she was pregnant- no rectification
2. The male lead is not aware that he has 3 children.
3. Son Tang, the antagonist, is ousted by one of the children (computer genius) and she’s taken away- no know whereabouts.
4. The final outcome on a bone marrow donor for the sick child is not resolve.
5. There’s a guy waiting to start a business battle with the male lead (he likes the FL and wants to take revenge for her.

Be Loved by You Obediently (2024) is a lighthearted short romance drama between Wei Yin Xian played by Zuo Yi and Fu Xuan Yi played by Wang Yan Xin. The leading couple has really good interactions and they are supportive of each other. The female lead is timid and insecure being by the male lead’s side; although she has a very good character development, she didn’t realized that she liked and had fallen in love with the male lead way until the end so her reactions to his loving advances were dry and weird, taking away from a great romantic chemistry. Overall, the drama is okay but the romance lacks zest.
