DON'TWASTE YOUR TIME!
Tian Cai San Bao, Gao Leng Die Di Shi Ba Zong could have been a good drama if it was not for the fact that it is incomplete; there is no ending with resolution about anything at all! Don’t waste your time! Although there is more, the following issues are unresolved:1. The male lead didn’t trust his wife and, although he was investigating, he put her in a place without even caring since he didn’t even know she was pregnant- no rectification
2. The male lead is not aware that he has 3 children.
3. Son Tang, the antagonist, is ousted by one of the children (computer genius) and she’s taken away- no know whereabouts.
4. The final outcome on a bone marrow donor for the sick child is not resolve.
5. There’s a guy waiting to start a business battle with the male lead (he likes the FL and wants to take revenge for her.

This drama has a nice plot but it needed more episodes to flesh out the main characters. The female lead’s different skills are overly exceptional and how she acquired them is not properly explained; also, her personality, at some point toward the end, becomes childish and foolish. The male lead’s character is consistent and he truly shows his love, but the leading couple lacks chemistry and their romantic scenes are either constantly interrupted or lacked intimacy. There are some twists and turns that get better explain toward the end but it was not enough to save the drama from been overly ridiculous which, if it was an attempt to provide a comedic relief, it only served to leave the viewers scratching their heads. This drama can be found on YouTube under the title: “Revenge to The Devil” Blind wife found husband's conspiracy and took perfect revenge”. Although the subtitles are not the best, which is a disgrace for this drama, the plot is a very good and smartly written revenge drama with a much better ending. The leading lady, Ai Lin / "Erin" deftly played by Jiang Shi Qi, is a strong and intelligent woman that, after been betrayed by her husband in the most heinous way and finding tha her son Dondon has disappeared, she reaffirms herself and steps on a path of revenge. By a chance encounter, she meets Luo Meijuan, a woman living miserably under the shadow of an abusive alcoholic husband, and the two formed a bond and helped each other to get away from their respective malevolent husbands. This drama is very well casted with great performances from the main characters Ai Lin (Jiang Shi Qi) and Wang Dao Tie as Wen Rick, Ai Lin’s Machiavellian second husband and the unscrupulous Inspector General of their police Department. This drama is not a romantic story, it is a great story about a woman who will do anything in order to protect her son and avenge her husband’s betrayal. Overall, the cast did a great job bringing their characters to life and the drama is provocative and entertaining, enjoy it! Was this review helpful to you?

This drama has a good storyline but the execution was poorly done and it became increasingly boring. The female lead was a breath of fresh air but even her cuteness was not enough to develop a good romantic chemistry between her and the leading male whose facial expressions did not convey love and tenderness. Even if the drama has a limited timeframe, the acting could have been better. The actress that portrayed the Empress did a decent job bringing her character to life. Overall, this is a one-time watch while waiting for a great one to come. Was this review helpful to you?

I May Love You is one of those dramas that had potential but got lost when, for most of the drama, the female lead is putting off the male lead because he rejected her confession which, by the way, was abrupt and lacked sincerity when she tells him the shallow reason for what she likes him making herself as superficial as her reasons. The male lead doesn’t realize that he had started to fall for her until she leaves his side. He starts to court her by all possible ways, only to be refused in a rude, humiliating, and cruel way every time he tried to pursue her even though she still likes him. The male lead did a great job bringing his character to life and bringing out all kinds of emotions like anger, jealousy, uncertainty, honest care for her, and deep love that he demonstrated as soon as he realized that he liked her. On the other hand, up until episode eighteen, the female lead is responding with disdain, cruelty and, to a certain degree, sadistically when she seems to plan strategists and takes pleasure in hurting him as he tries, diligently, to right the pain caused by his rejection. Once the leading couple gets together, the relationship is cute from her side and beautifully passionate from his. The leading lady’s character was written in such a way that, for the most part, she doesn’t seem to have the emotional intensity of falling deeply for him at first sight and loving him for four years. Huang Ri Ying (as Tang Xin) has played too many insufferable leading ladies and her deadpan expressions in this drama make it difficult to give the viewer the “I’ve loved you for so long” vibe. Overall, even if the leading couple have many intimate scenes, is the leading man who lits the flame with his great acting. Other couples and supporting cast seem less enthusiastic pursuing their love interests. Was this review helpful to you?

This quite short miniseries is a delightful romantic comedy with a hot-blooded male lead and a cute and mischievous leading lady. The drama is short so it has a fast paced evolution plot but the story is well developed and everything falls into place at the right time in the plot. The main cast did a good job bringing their characters to life but some of the supporting cast’s acting was exaggerated. The leading couple has great chemistry mostly because of the leading male whose facial expressions really get the audience to understand his emotions. The nice twist at the end explains why he was so fascinated with her and it really makes their love story credible and super cute. This miniseries is a breath of fresh air and it leaves the viewer with a great feeling at the end. Enjoy it! Was this review helpful to you?

Revival is a nice miniseries about a mute girl named Mo Yun (played by Zhao Yi Fan) and Quan Yu Xi (played by Qiu Bai Hao), the Chairman of Quan Corporation. Quan Yu Xi Mo Yun is sold by her family to the Quan family that superstitiously believe that a girl with a disability can help him wake up from a “comatose” state after an accident. As a result of this incident, Mo Yu finds herself involved in the power struggles of the Quan family and other people around them. Quan Yu Xi and Mo Yun fall in love but they became estranged after Mo Yun suffers a miscarriage which she believed was caused by Quan Yu Xi and leaves China to, three years later, come back and exact revenge on those that hurt her. From this point on, the drama gets more interesting and Quan Yu Xi leaves no stone unturned to try to rekindle his relationship with Mo Yun. The leading couple has a nice chemistry but the female lead needs to work on her facial expressions. Even so, the male lead manages to engage more naturally with her and the romance is carried nicely. Overall, although the series is not great, it is entertaining. Enjoy it! From the revenge plot to the ensuing a love of intense feeling and deep affection during turbulent times, this drama is a sinful pleasure to watch. The entire main cast played their roles magnificently and the supporting cast did great also.

On The Romance of Hua Rong 2, the first episodes are the same old mistrust story from the female lead toward the male lead and the playing hard to get when they have been together as a couple on and off, but it really gets better on episode 9 and on. There is a clip at the end of every episode that sheds light and, sometimes, some humor to something that happened during the episode. There are more allusions to modern time (waterbed on episode 4- hilarious!)and a strong but obvious antagonist that really puts the characters in ridiculous situations. Although the drama is full of clichés and the tiring feminist attitude of the female lead when it is obvious that the male lead is not trying to stop her but to protect her from her own impulsivity, there are many sweet (episode 9- is beautiful when he doesn’t allow her to give him her eyes) and romantic moments between the lead couple that make the title more plausible. Season 2 is nice to watch and delivers entertainment. Enjoy it! Was this review helpful to you?
This review is for Season 1 & 2:
This is a really nice short drama. The costumes, choreography, and cinematography are well done and most of the actors deliver the characters well. Although the romance is not a blazing one, the leading couple has great chemistry and a steadfast relationship. The crime cases are simple but the leading couple's way of solving crime, reasoning, and mutual understanding are fun to watch. The ending (from Season 2) is a happy one but it felt rushed and something was amiss. Overall, the drama offers a light but loyal romance, some suspense, and a dose of comedy. Was this review helpful to you?
