Miss Qiao's Top White Moonlight (2025) is a revenge romance miniseries with Yang Han (as Qiao Rong Chuan) and Meng Lu (as Qiao Xing Ye) in the leading couple’s role. The cast did a good job bringing their characters to life and the leading couple has very good chemistry. The lead actors romance is slow burn but their interactions were emotionally intense and their romantic scenes were nicely done. Qiao Xing Ye was betrayed by her fiancé and mistreated by her family but that was the beginning of her fighting back the grievance that she suffered during her lifetime. Qiao Rong Chuan finally finds her, and once again, he becomes her greatest ally and protector while making sure that they will stay together for the rest of their lives. This drama, even with the revenge plot, gives the viewer a strong, zealous and heartwarming love story between Qiao Rong Chuan and Qiao Xing Ye.

Title: Jie Geng Sheng Kai Shi (2025) aka Balloon Flower (2025) is a very good rebirth romance drama with Li Quan Cheng (as Fu Zheng) and Zhai Yiying (as Wen Li). This miniseries is well done and the cast did a good job bringing their characters to life. The leading couple has very good and natural chemistry and Zhai Yi Ting (as Wen Li) did a great job being delightfully cunning as she tries to seduce Li Quan Cheng (as Fu Zheng). Overall, this drama is quite entertaining, enjoy it!

Love Before Sunset (2024) is a nice romance miniseries with some action and a murder and suicide mystery to uncover by the leading couple Feng Li (played by Wang Kai Mu) and Si Yao (played by Yu Jia Lin). The drama is a little slow in some parts but there are some twists and revelations, especially toward the end that add coherence to the story and a romance between the leading couple. The romance develops towards halfway the duration of the drama and, although it is nice and it has some pleasant intimate scenes, except for one scene about a scar on his chest, the chemistry leading toward intimacy could have been better. Still, the drama is a good one to watch while waiting for a great one to come. Enjoy it!

Sorry, I'm the Lead (2025)/ Bao Qian Wo Na De Shi Nv Zhu Ju Ben (2025) is a very good miniseries with Xiong Yun Hao and Wang Mu Xuan in the leading couple’s role. The drama is nice and the leading couple has good chemistry, if only they would have more screen time! One can only conclude that the title “Sorry, I’m the Lead” refers to the leading lady’s role as she navigates a betrayal, antagonists shenanigans, and finding a supportive and great steadfast love. Still, her romance could’ve used more screen time since, by the end, their chemistry was getting really good.

Wedding Night and Departure (2025) is a nice romance fantasy drama set within a historical era with male lead Ben Wang (as Rong Jiu Si) and female lead Li Ke Yi (as Mu Yun Shu). Although some palace antics and assassination plots are part of the palace's shenanigans , the drama could be consider lighthearted, especially due to Mu Yun Shu’s high-spirited and playful character, even though she can display good judgment in understanding situations due to the nature of the historical periods. The lead couple has good chemistry and their intimate moments were nicely done. Overall, even though the drama lacks the intensity on certain moments, the drama is nice to watch.

This is a very nice miniseries with Zhen Zi Qi (as Li Tian Que) and Jadie Jia (as Chu Mian) in the leading couple’s role. Although it is listed as a romance drama, it is more a revenge drama with a developing romance between two wounded souls. The actors did a decent job bringing their characters to life but the romance was a slow burn one, especially from the Chu Mian toward Li Tian Que since her primary goal was to take revenge for the wrongs her family did to her. Li Tian Que gradually developed feelings for Chu Mian and was always trying to protect her. Li Tian Que, due to his traumatic past was a cruel and cold hearted person, but he starts to change as he interacts with Chu Mian. Although the drama is nice, there were too many instances of choking done and that took away from the “loving” feelings. Still, the drama is a nice watch, enjoy it!

She Came out of the Abyss (2024) is a nice rebirth story with Chen Si (as Gu Jing Chen) and Li Ruo Qi as (Cen Yuan) in the leading couple role. On her second life, she gets involved with Gu Jing Chen and they fall in love. The leading couple has good chemistry and some heartwarming moments. The drama unfolds nicely but the rushed and kind of unfinished ending doesn’t do justice to the cast. Some of the supporting casts' acting was not up to par performing their roles and there were some unnecessary scenes, Overall, the drama could’ve used three more minutes to change the ending and make it more satisfactory.

The drama is lighthearted and heartwarming with a strong leading lady and a male lead that can’t be manipulated. The children are a super cute elements in getting the lead couple together and they were ahead of the adults with their intelligence and antics. The leading couple has a great playful chemistry and understanding of each other but their romance lacks on the intimacy department. Still, the drama is entertaining. Enjoy it! His Moonlight (2024) is a very good romance drama with Liu Qing as Li Ze Yuan and Zhang Shan as Xu Qing Huan/ in the lead couple’s roles. It is a story of betrayal and the attempt assassination of Xu Qing Huan who, due to trying to escape a fire, hits her head and loses her memory but it’s declared dead. Time passes and Li Ze Yuan comes back from studying abroad and meets Su Jiu Ling who strikingly resembles his beloved Qing Huan. Wu Zhichun, a selfish friend who saves her life, keeps her true identity hidden while dreaming of a romantic relationship with her and the antagonists start trying to kill Su Jiu Ling (Qing Huan) all over again. While becoming involved with Ze Yuan, who strongly believes Jiu Ling is his Qing Huan, and her stepmother and stepsister’s new attempts at her life, Qing Huan is protected by Ze Yuan and Wu Zhichun as she starts to recover her past memories. There is a mystery to be solved and when Jiang Qi Yun finds the truth, he makes a decision that changes his life and the lives of others around him. The one drawback of this drama is the rushed ending and some issues that seemed unresolved but they were irrelevant for the leading couple. Overall, it is a very good drama and the leading couple has great chemistry.

DON'TWASTE YOUR TIME!

Tian Cai San Bao, Gao Leng Die Di Shi Ba Zong could have been a good drama if it was not for the fact that it is incomplete; there is no ending with resolution about anything at all! Don’t waste your time! Although there is more, the following issues are unresolved:
1. The male lead didn’t trust his wife and, although he was investigating, he put her in a place without even caring since he didn’t even know she was pregnant- no rectification
2. The male lead is not aware that he has 3 children.
3. Son Tang, the antagonist, is ousted by one of the children (computer genius) and she’s taken away- no know whereabouts.
4. The final outcome on a bone marrow donor for the sick child is not resolve.
5. There’s a guy waiting to start a business battle with the male lead (he likes the FL and wants to take revenge for her.

Li Shao Qing Fang Shou (2023) is a supposed romance drama that falls more into the category of a male lead that constantly plots for the cruelest revenge against the leading lady while still being in love (obsessed) with her, and a leading lady that, no matter how terribly she’s being treated, has never stopped loving her husband. Of course, this type of dysfunctional relationship and mistreatment is all due to antagonists trapping the leading male into believing their lies and, once the truth is revealed, everything is glossed over by the leadings man’s remorsefulness and impudent (overly cute) attitude to win her over again. This physically and emotionally heavy plot is not suitable for a short drama since the bitter flavor of the brutal relationship doesn’t have enough time to be sweetened to leave the viewer feeling the redemption storyline and feel happy and satisfied at the end.

This drama could’ve been a well done drama if it was not from the fact that the female lead Ming Yue (played by Bai Yan) spent too much time been drugged, kidnapped, and carried by the male lead and others; and the male lead Li Chuan Yuan (played by Lu Shan Dong) was always there in the nick of time to save the day! There is a nice chemistry between the leading couple and the drama has a nice happy ending. The drama is a miniseries so the plot seemed choppy and there were too many characters trying hurt the Ming Yue. There is also a good amount of frenzied characters and over the top crazy female characters. Overall, although this review is seemingly negative, the drama is not too bad but, one cannot help to feel dumbfounded at the amount of kidnappings, slaps, and being carried up for the female lead.
