Not sure about the person above but I wouldn’t hold any complaint about not wanting a certain pairing too personal. There’s always someone who doesn’t want their fave paired X, Y, or Z whether it’s personal bias against certain people or just being petty about billing/popularity. It is what it is and the more fans a person has, the more likely there will be at least one outspoken person against a pairing. I’m sure there’s also SWL fans who wouldn’t want him paired with YSX. To me, it’s just fun to see different pairings and the different chemistries amongst actors and actresses.

You know how there’s been comparisons of the show to sports anime’s? I sort of get anime theme song from the opening song which I really like-it suits the drama.

Technically they were both in Find Yourself where he was the ML and she was the 2nd FL if you want an idea of their visuals together. She was interested in him but he didn’t really reciprocate if I’m remembering correctly.

Every boy had someone to try to match her with and were sending photos 🤣

The funniest was of the boys offering the guy upstairs to go on a couple’s shoot with LWX 😭

I’ve written this before but I think this is a great addition to her character portfolio. LWX has a more mature vibe to her while still having nods to the more mischievous sides of her past characters. And likewise, the drama has fun and silly moments while also having some darker/more serious undertones - it’s a nice balance so far between seriousness and lightheartedness.

I’ve been enjoying RTS but seeing the promo they’ve already gotten to do makes me sad about the lack of official in person promo for SAL.

I NOTICED THAT TOO. Is this the first drama of hers that she hasn’t had an OST?

SAL was my first experience watching a CDrama live and it did something similar where it was six episodes the first day and then 2/day afterwards. SAL finished airing in just 10 days for express pass viewers; that was my first live CDrama experience so I sort of thought that quick release schedule was normal.

I saw RTS was supposed to also be 2 episodes/day after this until EP18. Not sure what the plan is for the last 14 episodes though.

I've really enjoyed the first 6 episodes! It's striking a nice balance between the whole cast with bits of slice of life and youth sports with some rom com moments with some suspense moments and there's still the lingering drama/baggage the two leads have that I'm looking forward to. It feels like a nice summer show and the cast has been great. The pacing has been pretty good so far and I'm hoping we get some teasing from the boys as Teacher Lin and Wang Fa start to grow closer.

This is a really nice progression I think for YSX where it feels more mature yet there's still hints of the comedy/mischievousness her other roles have had.

Also, it's so weird how the rating has been actively dropping throughout the day - it was above 8 this morning and has been steadily dropping since. It literally JUST came out. If you really wanted to give this a fair shake/review, maybe give it more than one day's worth of episodes.

EP4 where they are both scheming against each other was so funny. I think so far it's been a nice balance of rom com and slice of life/youth sports moments with the overhanging more serious vibes I'm sure will be coming soon. I'm pretty happy overall with the whole cast so far in terms of delivery.

Yeah, that's why I sort of liked HY's idea of past and present lives because then they could combine a historical drama which seem to do better in China with modern scenes which I think suit them very well.

We may still get our YSX x HY HI6 episode yet 🥹

With SAL being submitted to air in Hong Kong more recently, I still have my fingers crossed that they will add it to Netflix eventually 😭

I sort of wonder if with the current drama market cold in China, producers are hoping casting previously successful CPs again could help with viewership/excitement.

I want to know why they refuse to update the poster too. There's so many other, nicer posters they can use and I know people have requested that too.

I said this back when it was just finished airing, but I also wouldn't mind it for at least North America to go onto Amazon Prime. I think it could fit in sort of nicely with TSITP and Culpa Mia in terms of audience and Amazon Prime also has MJTY which is another IQIYI original.

For Netflix, they do have LBFAD, so maybe some day (fingers crossed).
