Still here. They need to air this in Netflix! It would be a bigger hit. Also need them together in another drama,…
It just feels very Netflix coded to me. I would even take Amazon Prime. It just reminds me of so many shows that are popular in the US in terms of vibes.
The drama's filming process was really messy and we didn't get a proper booting ceremony (as far as I remember).…
Wow. I didn't know the casting wasn't officially announced until they actually started filming. The more I hear about the production and then how the show was rolled out, the more I wonder about what was going on BTS for why it feels like it was sort of neglected. I think someone also mentioned in this thread they read the scriptwriter wrote the script as more of a side project and could have done a better job if they gave it more time.
Huge kudos to YSX, HY, their teams, and the rest of the SAL cast for doing their best to promote and support the drama. And I'm glad that even if the script and editing was quite choppy, I thought the actual filming and lighting they used were pretty good, though I do laugh every time I see the galaxy greenscreen background during their one hand hold after they officially reunite and they go to JM's work dinner.
HY suggested a past and present lives drama if they were to collab again which I would guess would be a historical and modern drama which I would be really intrigued by.
Is this his twitter id? He used to date Sally Xu so they might be her friends
So this is what I pulled from people on HY's MDL page and you can check it out if you want (this is me quoting the comments where it was discussed 11 days ago):
Rumors first appeared in 2023 [HY and Liu Xie Ning were dating], but neither side confirmed. In 2024, they were spotted together at a restaurant. Paparazzi caught him kissing her. After getting exposed lxn defended their relationship among her fans while hy was silent. But few days later their were rumors that his side asked him to break up with her otherwise he wouldn't get new roles. Her fans asked her to drop a specific emoji if he breaks up with her and she heard that offline. Later lxn posted that specific emoji on weibo after they broke up. lxn's fans were upset as she got all the blame alone and only she tried to protect their relationship. In weibo of course everyone sided with hy and scolded lxn after they were exposed.
People who are more connected to Chinese SM can fill in any details/gaps from this, but it does sound like they did break up about a year ago for all the public knows.
I'm pretty sure they met on that terrace if that's what you're referring to and that was the official "break…
That's where the editing got really messy. They showed their intial break up first and he did seem ok which was confusing. They later showed another flashback just before they met where San Lai had to wheel chair him in and he had collapsed from the pain. So I guess the assumption is he powered through and didn't let JM to see him in pain to give her the clean break. I was so confused about the timeline too. That scene of him collapsing helped somewhat, but yeah, the editing didn't do a great job at conveying intent/how he was in pain.
Does anyone know what Hua Luo Liu Nian (under "Movies") is? I also saw it under YSX's Wikipedia page as TBD but I haven't heard anything about it before.
And if it helps, there's plenty of edits out there of JZ being a mechanic/driver/doing JZ things 😂😂😂
It seems like it could have been a fun tourist attraction for the cafe.
Maybe they can keep the sign inside for people to take pictures of or do some sort of mini display for fans to take pictures of.
