Did Netflix change the episode schedule again?? Only one ep on Friday now ?
I can't make sense of the Netflix schedule! The last couple weeks it's been 2 on Wednesday, 2 on Thursday, skip Friday and 1 on Saturday??? I've been so disappointed looking for new episodes of Friday only to find nothing there.

I can’t stand the whole Caina arc and if it comes back later it will be a stupid decision. The actress must…
I honestly skipped that entire story line. I just didn't care AT ALL what was going on there lol

anyone distracted by how you can see the character's breath in Si's house?? for such a rich family you'd think…
I focus on their breath way too much too! I get it's cold when filming but it's not very believable when you're freezing in a big mansion for no apparent reason lol

can someone plz tell me what happening in ep 4!!?? like why is Si on the rooftop basically abusing Shancai????…
Si's personality is a selfish, immature, violent one. If you haven't seen any of the other versions or read the manga it might not make sense bc it's actually toned down A LOT in this version. I understand why it's in there but they've pretty much done away with the extreme bullying with the red cards from the other versions so him having that extreme of a reaction seemed out of place if you don't know the original story. But that's basically it and your supposed to see his growth as a person throughout the drama.

I am so excited Netflix is releasing this!! It will be so nice if they start releasing more airing dramas going forward. I've been patiently waiting for this to start and love that I'll be able to easily watch it on my TV and not wait forever for subs. I loved the original Meteor Garden so much. It was one of my first dramas and can't wait to see what they do with this one. From the trailers it looks like it has aspects from the Taiwanese, Korean and Japanese adaptions so should be interesting :-)

Can you please give me a summary of episode 9 if you don’t mind? I watched the raw but couldn’t understand…
I don't understand Japanese but I've read what's available of the manga. From what I put together based on what happens in the manga, Oto figured out that one of Tenma's good friends, Konoe, is the one who ordered the attacks on Eitoku and her. When she goes to tell Tenma, Konoe denies it and Tenma is more inclined to believe him rather than her. Oto is sad and upset and Haruto tries to cheer her up. When all 4 meet up, Haruto figures out what happened and yells at Tenma for not believing Oto. He probably says something along the lines of Tenma needing to believe Oto no matter if she's right or wrong bc she's the girl he likes and he should care about her feelings. I think that's the turning point for Oto bc she 's shocked Haruto is the one who believes her without question, not Tenma. Tenma is torn on who to believe the whole time. When Haruto hugs Oto he says "Just for one a minute" or something like that and then Tenma finds them. I'm assuming Haruto tells Tenma that he's not giving up on Oto and will end it only when he decides to. Tenma and Haruto then challenge each other to that competition in Ep. 10 and if Haruto loses he has to basically back off Oto for good. The rest of the episode was a bit different in the manga so not sure about all that lol. I really have no clue what goes on with Megurin bc she's completely different in the manga.

Me too. Although it is subbed up to episode 6, I couldn't wait for episode 7 to be subbed so I watched it raw.
Where did you watch ep 6 subbed? I can't find it anywhere.

yeah eps 5 and 6 are up raw right now I watch 5 but I need to read the manga bit more so I can follow
Where are you reading the manga? I've read a synopsis of each chapter of the manga that's been released so far so I've got a pretty good idea of how the story is going to be played out, but I would like to read each chapter in full so I have a better understanding of the story.

I'm loving this!!! I keep telling myself I'm just going to wait until it's completed and fully subbed but I always find myself checking for the next raw episode or the latest sub lol. I can't get enough!
I think I'm going to put this one on hold and if they ever get around to making a 2nd season, I'll finish it then. I've really liked the 14 or so subbed episodes I've watched but I've been skipping around the raw episodes for weeks now and I just can't continue. I'm not very hopeful a 2nd season will happen but if it does, I'll for sure continue watching. It's a shame bc this drama has so much potential and so much of the story left to tell.

I have read reviews saying that the show's plot is relatively slow paced. I'm worried that it'll end up being…
I've just scratched the surface of this drama and have only completed the 1st three episodes and there are definitely some super slow moments. It's not all like that but even my husband noticed parts were dragging and seemed a little unnecessary. I do like how there are multiple plots going on with various characters throughout (I've skipped around lol). It has a very Game of Thrones feel where there are so many different houses and families and they each sort of have their own plots and episodes dedicated to them. I hope I'm able to stay interested in all of them but I have a feeling I'll get bored with some and end up skipping over them.

I haven't watched too many lakorns and most of the ones I have seen are pretty mild. The nang'rai is usually the one who takes things WAY too far but the guys have been pretty mild. I say that meaning definitely controlling and possessive in ways that would raise all kinds of red flags for a westerner, but I assume it's more culturally acceptable so I try to keep an open mind. I would completely agree that they downplay the seriousness of rape. That being said, the first lakorn I ever watch was Jam Loey Rak and to say I was shocked is an understatement. I still can't wrap my head around that one. It was a bit much and turned me off lakorns for a few years.

Watched 7 out of the 10.. not too bad I guessI don't think I will get started with journey of flower because probably…
If you ever decide to give Journey of Flower a chance, watch the deleted scenes on YouTube also. A few parts of the drama didn't flow well and it's bc those scenes were removed. It will make much more sense and you'll understand the male lead a bit better :-)

I could probably count the number of Turkish dramas I've seen on one hand. It's not bc I dislike them but bc they are really hard to find with English subs. There are a handful on Netflix but I have a growing list that I just can't find. I would be interested in watching a Turkish remake of an Asian drama I've already seen. They are extremely heavy on the drama so it would be interesting to see how it's different.

I had absolutely no intention of watching this drama. It just didn't appeal to me at all. But, that being said, once I decided to give it a shot I ended up really liking it. Finished it in a matter of days. I've been watching more Japanese and Chinese dramas lately bc the Kdramas I was coming across just weren't doing it for me. This drama, as well as Healer (another one I had no interest in either), got me out of my Kdrama slump :-)

Title The K2
Is this drama worth watching? I watched the first episode a few months ago but it didn't really catch my attention and I just sort of forgot about it. Considering trying again but the reviews aren't very promising. Thoughts??

the whitewashing itself is enough for me not to watch it but lmao i'm not surprised it's bad at all.
It can't be considered whitewashing when it's set in America and intended for a western audience, who are a mixture of all sorts of races, including *gasp* white people.

This drama took me a good 6 or 7 episodes to really get into but I'm liking it now. The one thing that bugs…
I agree with both points. He definitely has his pride but also isn't making it easy for her to feel anything but anger towards him at this point.
