Finally watched Ep12 w/ subs so now I have a better idea of what the heck happened! Looks like Kim Tan just threw all his cards onto the table so no one has anything to hold over him. Eun Sang was walking around depressed looking as usual. No real change there. I FINALLY understand more of Young Do, especially his relationship w/ Kim Tan. I love learning more and more about him. He's my favorite and the most complex character by far. I will say, this episode definitely peaked my interest. I'm curious to know the fallout from Kim Tan's big announcement and I'm kind of waiting for Young Do to sweep in and protect Eun Sang since Kim Tan will be a bit tied up in the meantime. Kim Tan will definitely have to cut back on some of his stalking duties to clean everything up as nicely as possible.

Hahaha I had posted a comment right above your's about all the staring! It's really old and I'm over it. I'm only going to keep watching for Kim Woo Bin. If it wasn't for him, I would have dropped this drama ages ago.

I know this is just how things are done in KDramas but my god, all the staring!! It's kind of driving me crazy. I feel like all they do 75% of time is stare at each other. Kim Tan and Eun Sang, Eun Sang and Young Do, Young Do and Kim Tan, and sometimes even Kim Tan, Eun Sang AND Young Do! They could fit so much more into each episode if they would cut it out with the dramatic staring. I hated how episode 12 ended. It's getting old

Geez, Kim Tan is a pretty good at finding Eun Sang at the absolute worst moments. I think if Young Do and Eun Sang could actually spend some uninterrupted time together, she might notice the whole mean guy facade is just an act. I think she sees it here and there but he's pretty good at hiding it. Pay attention, girl!!

Well, after watching 7 I'm not quite ready to switch sides yet. Yes, Young Do is awful but we already knew that. I'm waiting to see how he'll redeem himself (assuming he will). There's just something about him....

Hahaha his clothes are killing me! Kind of reminds me of the 90's w/ the ugly sweatshirts his been wearing. Like the parrot one! What happened to his laid-back California look? He returns to Korea and suddenly dresses like a weirdo lol. Kim Woo Bin is definitely getting the best dressed award here!

Oh no! I'm totally Team Young Do (even though he has done absolutely NOTHING to make me like him lol). I don't know what it is about him I like so much. I haven't seen ep. 7 yet.

I get what you're saying completely. It reminded me of every Korean movie I seemed to watch where everyone dies in the end. I didn't like so many main characters died, especially Shi Hyun. He was such a good, strong character and tried to do his best for everyone. I guess it just signified that his death wouldn't go in vein, and Soo Min and Hyeong Min would work that much harder on his behalf.

Could be! Nothing is just catching my eye. I was really excited for Who Are You but I'm not really lovin' it. Plus, it's kind of hard when it takes me more than 1 day to watch an episode bc I'm constantly pausing the TV to deal with my kiddos lol

I'm sort of skipping around on Who Are You but other than that I'm not really watching anything :-/ I'm not really loving it to be honest. I just haven't had a lot of time. It took me forever to finish Cruel City even though I loved it! And yes, that drama will keep you on the edge of your seat! My husband and I had numerous WTF moments throughout the drama lol. I had myself prepared for a bad ending the whole time too. I'm not crazy about the ending but I loved the drama as a whole.

I renege on my comment months ago....Godfrey Gao was perfect as Magnus in City of Bones. The look was great and his English was spot on!! Kind of weird watching him in an English speaking movie since I've only seen him in Taiwanese dramas. I already can't wait for the other movies since his character will be more involved in the storyline. Thumbs up Mr. Gao!!

You had commented on a post I made awhile back that I should try reading The Infernal Devices and I finally read all 3 in a matter of days. I loved them!! They were better than TMI, in my opinion. Thanks for the recommendation :-)

Did you ever decide to start watching Cruel City? I finally finished it a few days ago. If I wasn't trying to watch it with my husband I would have finished it much sooner lol. It was really good though! A little disappointed with the ending but the drama as a whole was definitely worth the watch and very well made. What have you been watching lately? I've been watching Who Are You but can't really get into it :-/ I'm kind of in a drama slump.

So random but the sweater the little doll is wearing is my hometown haha! It says "Tulsa" and blue and yellow are the school colors of the University of Tulsa. Now there's something I never expected to see in a Korean drama lol!

I'm hoping this show gets better. I watched the 3rd episode with my husband last night and turned it off towards the end bc not much was happening. Then skipped episode 4 completely and skipped around through episode 5. Seems promising after episode 5 but if it doesn't grab my attention quickly I'll probably lose interest :-/

My 3 favs weren't on the list :-( Song Seung Hun, Jang Hyuk and Jung Woo Sung. Joo Jin Mo is the only one I'm familiar with on this list so I guess I have some exploring to do lol.

Funny! Everything you mentioned boggles my mind every time I see it in dramas! Especially the running EVERYWHERE! I would die after the first block running at full speed like they seem to be haha

I did. I did a review on it. The last half was a mess and the ending was unsatisfactory. If you lost interest I wouldn't bother starting it again. Cruel City seems good so far. I've only watched the first 3 episodes so still too early to have a good opinion. My husband is watching it with me so its slow going hays. But so far so good
