Title The King's Woman Spoiler
This drama took me a good 6 or 7 episodes to really get into but I'm liking it now. The one thing that bugs me (and always does in dramas) is why won't Ying Zheng just tell Sun Li who he is and why he's so attached to her?! I know he was really upset about the pregnancy but putting a warrant out for her arrest and forcing her into his harem to save Jing Ke certainly didn't help. Especially since he knew she hates the king of Qin. It won't make her forget everything that's happened to her homeland and her family but it might make her see him in a different light and allow her to open up to understanding him more. I know she'll figure it out eventually but I don't see the point in keeping it from her.

I had no intention of watching this but I came across a YouTube fmv and it peaked my interest. Now I'm loving it! I watched School 2013 and surprisingly liked it, so maybe I should also watch School 2015 as well.

OMG I've never seen Vic Chou in this type of role so I'm already sold! Doesn't hurt that Zhang Vin is very easy on the eyes and I've liked everything I've seen him in as well. Can't wait for this!

I actually don't mind remakes and have watched quite a few. I'm curious to see how it's done somewhere else, especially with the cultural differences. A lot of American shows are remakes of British shows and I don't think a lot of people here in American realize that. I just started delving into what Turkey has to offer recently bc of what they've added to NetFlix and I had no idea they've done some remakes of Asian shows. I have a growing list of things I would love to watch from Turkey but have a hard time finding what I want subbed in English :-/

I love, love, love Mary Stayed Out All Night!! It's probably one of my favorites and I can't even tell you why exactly. I've watched it multiple times and never get bored. I also really enjoyed Last Cinderella. I'm not a huge fan of doramas but I really liked that one and have watched it more than once.

I rewrote the description into a plotline we could all at least have a stab at understanding. hope it helps. "Pho"…
Thank god for your description. I was trying to read the synopsis above and was like WTF!?

Reading the novel that this drama is based on really disappointed me. Compared to the drama the novel is really…
I agree that the novel is a bit inadequate in comparison to the drama bc we are only getting Bai Qian's perspective. I read the novel while half way through the drama. It was nice to be able to watch raw episodes and have a better understanding of what is happening bc of reading the novel.

Hi guys, please recommend others worthy C-drama (historical) to follow since Im still depressed having these withdrawal…
If you haven't already seen it, try Journey of Flower. I loved it! It's similar to TMOPB with the whole immortal thing. I really liked the story between Bai Zi Hua and Hua Qian Gu. Imagine if the main focus of TMOPB was Mu Yuan and Si Yin. That's the best way to describe Bai Zi Hua and Hua Qian Gu from Journey of Flower.

God, I wanted to be interested in this (b/c hello, handsome merman!?) but I just cannot get past the weird overdubbed…
I don't know if you ever get used to it. You just kind of deal, like you said. The dubbing put me off Chinese productions for a long time. I watched Love Me If You Dare first, followed by Perfect Couple and Journey of Flower and the dubbing for Wallace Huo was so weird. But I was able to look past it bc I liked the story line. It's like the bad CGI in Chinese dramas. It's sooooo bad but you kind of look past it lol.

I just watched episode 17 (both versions), and all I can say is...why are there so many differences?? It's…
Thanks!! I wondered if KissAsian would be the place. I didn't want to go back through an episode I've already watched to see if I could figure out the differences haha! I'm not caught up to the current episode yet but I've felt like I'm missing stuff in the episodes I've seen on Drama Fever. I'll just start watching them from KissAsian from now on.

Where do you watch the SBS version? I've been watching this on Drama Fever and I'm assuming that's the international version(?)

Please tell me this gets better!! I can handle cheesy to a point and will usually give a drama a good try before I completely write it off, but when I got to the Tiger Monster and Rat Monster I had just about reached my limit. I'm on Ep 7 and I'm not sure I'll be able to make it to 62

Shouldn't Ji Tae be younger than Joon Young? Since JY was born before his father got married? Why does No Eul…
I'm glad I'm not the only one who was confused about all this. The way I was looking at it, JT's father and JY's mother dated during college and she got pregnant but didn't tell the father when they were forced to part. Then JT's father and mother got married and had their 2 kids, which would be after JY's mother was pregnant. Never considered JT was not his father's biological child but that would make sense if JT is supposed to be older than JY and Eul.

So, I recently started watching this drama again now that I've found decent subtitles. One thing I keep finding…
Ah I'm sorry :-( I didn't even look to see where you were from. I hope you can find one soon. It took me a really long time to find something over here that was subbed. I could only find bits and pieces for quite a while.
