I think this drama should get an award for "most crocodile tears spilled". Soooo much crying for it being a mostly fun drama! Sam Dong seemed to cry over everything and kind of had a nasty temper when he let it out. But mostly lovable, gullible and sweet. I really loved Jin Gook and Pil Sook. Learned to love Hye Mi. Hated Baek Hee through most of it. Loved all the music! It was a cute drama. Wasn't a huge fan of the ending but what can you do.

Side note, I LOVED how when Jin Gook accidently stood up Hye Mi, instead of keeping silent and leaving her fuming mad he immediately said "Sorry, I lost my phone so I couldn't call you". I can't tell you how annoyed I get when a character just fuels the fire bc they don't flat out say "hey I lost my phone or my phone died" lol. Bravo JinGook for not being an idiot. I really wish he had ended up with the girl, especially since SamDong had to leave.

Ahhh so true! I forgot about them! Looks like we could just go ahead and write this whole drama out! Lol

Hopefully it will end up something like that. I'm already rooting for Han Tae Sang. I don't even really want to get into the mess the younger guy is probably going to cause in all this. And I cringe at the thought of having to watch Baek Sung Joo plot and scheme through most of the series bc she's the crazy jealous, entitled scorned woman, which I assume that's how it will play out. I'm ready for tomorrow!

Well that escalated quickly lol. That about sums up my thoughts for the end of episode 2. I guess Han Tae Sang knows what he wants and wants it now! Makes me a little nervous for what's to come since there's 18 episodes to go! I can tell you now though, Baek Sung Joo is up to no good and Koo Yong Kab is also up to no good. I'm really loving it so far!

Found this on NetFlix last night and decided to watch. I don't really watch martial art action movies but needed a change. The story was nothing spectacular but the martial arts was good. The version on NetFlix is English dubbed and I kind of hated that. I wish I could have watched it in Mandarin with English subs but they probably would have dubbed it in mandarin anyway like most Chinese movies/dramas :-/

Started this last night but got too sleepy to finish. I really like it so far though! Its got a Korean cowboy/Indiana Jones type feel to it. Can't wait to watch the rest! I'm definitely on a Jung Woo Sung kick and so far he hasn't disappointed me :-)

Love the list. My husband was a "forever there" guy :-) Been like family since we were in elementary school but didn't seriously date until our mid-20's. They are for sure the best kind! Close second is definitely the kid at heart guys

I completely agree with both of you. I thought I was the only one who wasn't on Harry's side from reading previous comments throughout this drama. There was always something about him that didn't sit well with me and now we all know what it is. HE'S COMPLETELY INSANE!!! I've never thought this drama was going to have a good ending but I'm holding out the slim hope the writers will prove me wrong :-/

Your stalker guide on Kame really got me out of my JDrama slump. I hadn't watched many bc I just wasn't loving them like I was Korean or Taiwanese dramas but I read this, ended up watching Tatta Hitotsu no Koi and fell in love with it! I've now seen Yuuki, Nobuta wo Produce, Sapuri, Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge and I've started Yokai Ningen Bem. So THANK YOU!!! Now I know JDramas are actually really great :-)

Mars is a really great one. Especially if you don't like over the top and quirky acting. Also, Black & White is really great.

I've only noticed the dubbing in My Splendid Life but that was actually a Chinese drama. I've seen quite a few TDramas and I've never noticed any dubbing. Also, I think if you bounce around dramas from different countries, it takes awhile to get used to the language. It was really hard for me to get used to Korean again after hearing Mandarin for so long. And same with Japanese. I stayed away from them for so long but now I've kind of gotten used to listening to all 3 languages. But I can't get into Chinese dramas bc of dubbing. It's really irritating.

I kind of like to pretend the 2nd season never happened. I couldn't make it through more than a few episodes. Taking the worst part of Hana Yori Dango and turning it into an entire season (and long one at that) is just torture.

I've seen and loved all of these except for Hi, My Sweetheart. I will watch it one day! I don't think some people realize just how great Taiwanese dramas are. When I entered the world of Asian dramas it started with a Korean drama but I really fell in love with them after watching Taiwanese dramas. There are so many great ones! I don't think I could have picked a top 5 bc I really love all of the ones I've seen but I would have definitely added Mars to the list. Probably my favorite drama of all time!!

I can't seem to get into this one. I think I've watched the first 3 episodes but have completed at least 3 other dramas since I've started it. Does it get any better?? Seems a little stale to me :-/

Sweet drama showing a really strong bond between unlikely friends. Shuji is a really caring, selfless "popular" guy, Akira is so off the wall but fun, and Nobuta is extremely loyal and tries so hard despite how difficult it is for her. Loved all of them so much! Excellent portrayal of what a strong friendship should be :-)

Thank god ep. 14 & 15 had less crying and things are finally coming together! I know a lot of people like Harry but I always thought there was something off about him. My suspicions were definitely confirmed in these 2 episodes. He's crazy, vengeful and possessive. Su Yeon needs to figure that out quick and get the hell away from him. Poor Su Yeon and Jung Woo have been caught in the middle of all this from the beginning and are clueless about what's been going on around them. Nothing good can come out of this drama. I'm betting Jung Woo ends up dying in the end but I'm really hoping I'm wrong

I was pleasantly surprised! Really liked it! It is over the top and a little cartoon-y (which I normally dislike) but I finished this in a day and half. I really liked all the characters and their crazy antics. I can't compare to the manga or anime but it was a breath of fresh air for me. Really cute :-)

I'm on the 3rd episode and Tsukioka Nao seems really childish so far. I really hope she doesn't stay like that bc it's a bit annoying to watch

Is it actually dubbed somewhere? I had heard they were trying to air it in America and I wondered if that's what they were going to do. I don't see that working so well over here.
