I don't think it's a matter of people having horrible taste in dramas or being ridiculous, it's a matter of preferences.…
Well said Strawberry. It's just a matter of taste. I for example would most likely not watch/ read a piece of fiction the has no romance unless I am forced :-) Yet I love watching documentaries and read non fiction books on historical, scientific and psychological topics. Just a matter of opinion and preference.
I am not surprised they are using US-dollars to buy things. This is normal in that type of countries where their…
I am pretty surprised though. Take USSR as an example, if anybody was found having dollars in their possession they'd be thoroughly investigated and most likely go to jail. We are talking over 30 years ago of course, but the regime looks similar to an extent.
"... I wish I had forgotten most of the plot so I get to re-experience everything for the first time!"
My thoughts exactly. I watched this drama 5 times and each time I discover something new. However, I do wish the whole experience was more fresh and I knew nothing about the drama :-)
This is my favorite trope of all time in a romance: Obsessive heroes or villains. But I only love the ones who…
Thank you for the recommendations! I have just started watching The New Tales of Gisaeng. I have had it on my watch list for a while, because I have seen that snippet from episode 33, but was intimidated by the length of the drama and the fact that it is not available on the website that I normally use to watch dramas. However, you have convinced me! Thank you!
I love both Ha Ji Won and Yoon Kye Sang, but I hate medical dramas or anything to do with hospitals... Why did they have to do it to me?!!! :-| I guess I have to rewatch some of her older stuff then....sigh....
I would like to know who is the Yandere in "Love in Sadness". The main lead or the second lead?
Well I am not entirely sure which one of them is the main lead. Both are very prominent. The husband is the yandere. Thinking back though the doctor guy is quite obsessive as well, but in a gentler way.
Not sure whether this is a spoiler or not... Is it just me or were there some easter eggs in this? I mean Cha Seung Won's character was called 'Devil King', isn't it what someone referred to him in The Greatest Love drama? Then towards the end, there was this whole conversation about building a hotel, which made me think of Hotel De Luna. I wonder whether all of this is just a coincidence or have the writers and one of the directors done it on purpose? I mean those three dramas were directed and written by the same people...
I think the Hong Sisters have never done a second season of their dramas. Also the main problem with a second…
" Cha Seung Won refusing to work for a week because all the problems with the production crew (He tried to support them" - My respect for Cha Seung Won grows by the minute
What does Yandere mean exactly? Lovvve this list and have been racking my brain trying to figure out how it fits.
Thank you very much! The term yandere comes from Japan and is usually used by anime and manga fans. It's a character that is obsessively romantically in love. They'd do anything to keep their beloved by their side, beg, steal and murder. Sometimes even the person they are obsessing about( I don't like these types). The traditional yandere is a sweet person who turns dangerous only when their love isn't reciprocated, but nowadays it's being used more loosely. I hope it helps.
I dont like the acting of shin sung rok - and it's not because of the emperor in the last empress. I just dont…
He is a stage actor and it shows. It can be difficult to suppress this style of acting when one is used to it. I happen to love watching him act, but it's a matter of preference. Anyway let's hope the drama is good in any case.
You should watch "Game Rai Game Ruk"-the hero in that one lives and breathes his love for his female lead!
Thank you for the recommendation. I did try watching this lakorn a few years ago and it definitely belongs on the list from what I saw, but I just couldn't finish it, mainly because of the annoying second female lead. I should probably put it up here though :-)
Thanks for this posting - really appreciate your opinions and LOO scores hahaha! I started watching My Heart Twinkle…
I am really glad to hear it is helpful. I do like watching Chinese dramas sometimes, but for whatever reason I often cannot finish them. However I do enjoy the jealous/ obsessive moments in them ;-)
I am a total psycho for asking this. But do you guys know any similar dramas where one of the main male leads…
You think you are a psycho? I have created a whole list dedicated to it. https://kisskh.at/list/Y4Bjxo04. I do tend to mostly stick to Korean drama though. Would love to hear more recommendations too!
