JB is my favourite character, but I really don't think he has a chance of getting the girl at this stage. So I hope this will end happy with SB and SH ending up together in the end. Unfortunately as much as I would love for it to happen I think JB will not end up happy. I think out of the three he is most likely to die, possibly a heroic death scarifying himself and thus redeeming himself in the viewers eyes. However, kdramas surprised me many a times with who they are willing to redeem and in what way, so who knows...

Interesting. This is the first ongoing drama that I am actively discussing, so I don't have much experience when it comes to this. Do you think the comment section here is different from other dramas? Or do many dark themed dramas have a 'scary' comment section?

It's just a drama. Many of us have been stressed, because of the current situation in the world.
Having a strong opinion that one expresses about some fictional situation shouldn't be a sin, they have their reasons for liking it or perhaps it helps them cope with something, so who cares? Most on here are doing it without offending anybody or calling real people names.

Some of JB's actions in the last episode reminded me of Yoo Jung from Cheese in the Trap(drama version). Does anybody else think their personality is sort of similar?

I cannot speak for everybody, but for me, after everything that happened in the last 2 episodes (out of 16), I can clearly see there is no way for them to end up together, so I don't ship them together anymore. Despite that I like watching them together way way more than watching her with SH. I think seeing how desperate JB is, clinging to the chance of having that person in his life that cares about him is heartbreaking and fascinating at the same time. Their story is really just a very dark version of Beauty and the Beast, the more I watch it the more I see it emerge, which has always been my favourite fairytale. I guess people have different reasons for liking this couple, everybody has their own preferences.

I haven't studied medicine either, but I was obsessed with the topic, because of my ex and researched it extensively. One can become a sociopath, but psychopaths are born this way. Both types are incapable of feeling genuine love or sympathise with anybody, nobody at all. As far as I know there is something missing in their brain. Just like some people are born with a missing limb or get a scar which cannot be fixed, these people have it in their brain. I haven't read any current research, but up until 2014 there was no known treatment to fix it. I think JB genuinely cares for SB, in his own way perhaps, but he does. In fact he begins to show emotions which we haven't seen him show before. That is why I really think the term "psycho" is used loosely in the drama, not medically correct.

You were right about the preview. From what I've heard about the 8th episode JB's behaviour is now worse than JC's. It makes it for an interesting watch, where is it all going to lead? However, there is no way SB will end up with JB now though.

I have met a few sociopaths in my life, some in college settings and one of them in a romantic one. It is pretty scary when you realise a person has no emotions. I have never had any personal experience with psychopaths( as far as I know), but I have heard that they are a worse version of sociopaths and they are smarter as they are able to hide their lack of emotions well. From what I see of JB he is not one. Don't get me wrong he has some sort of mental disorder, but I do not believe he is a psychopath or they are using this term incorrectly.

Indeed it was done by JC's father, unless of course his father was a figment of his imagination.

I think this isn't creepy stalking in the Kdrama world, as it happens in many romcoms. JC was a stalker, I think JB didn't reach that level yet.
Interesting in the comedies they make it look cute, just by adding different settings, music and cutting it in a certain way, while in Born Again it often appears dark. Just marveling at the power of the technology...

I haven't watched today's episode yet, but up to that I am leaning towards JB.
It annoys me that SB is the one running after SH and that he has a fiancee. I don't think he loves that woman, but it's my personal pet peeve in dramas when the FL is first to run after a guy and on top of that 2 girls are after one guy.
I think I will ship her with whichever one is more devoted and ready to do all for her, I guess with the guy that is more obsessed :-)

I have also just thought that timeline wise it makes more sense for SH to be HB too! He died first and even though we don't know SH's age(or do we?) he seems older than JB. I mean we don't even know when JC died.

This is a possibility, but then I think Soo Hyuk is very different from Ji Chul. He is very cold , while JC despite all of his strange tendencies was quite a warm person, we see it though his friendship with that kid and his love for Ha Eun. Although if I think of it this way, so was Hyung Bin... I think I have just managed to confuse myself even more :D

Wow I have watched LiS and WHiB, but apart from it I have never even heard of these dramas before, thank you! A Love to Kill sounds especially nice.
