Each time I see Jo Jae Yun in drama, I know there is 80% chance that one of the protagonists is going to suffer at his hands and I’d enjoy every bit of it. This guy is amazing at playing evil!!! Mind you he is equally as good at playing a good guy too. Always a treat to watch him act
I feel like K-romcoms have drifted away from what made me love them in the 2010s, the fun clichés, the messy emotions, and male leads who just can’t hide how they feel. Lately everything has been so polished and “perfect boy” that the spark is gone.
But Dynamite Kiss actually feels like a return to that older vibe. The male lead keeps trying to push her away, but his feelings keep slipping out anyway, and she refuses to back off, exactly the kind of dynamic I’ve missed.
Business Proposal was the only recent enough rom-com I enjoyed, but this one finally gives me that old excitement again.
Really hoping it stays this good, because the first four episodes were brilliant.
If the elected president cannot declare martial law, who else can? South Korean people must follow their leader…
I can see so many different examples right now and in history of people following such leader and it rarely led to anything good. So no, use your head and only follow the leader you trust.
Sorry this is from 2 years ago, life got very busy for me. I wish for the same when it comes to Born Again, there…
Wow!!! I am humbled by your reply, glad you were inspired and your list looks so good!! I was watching a few MVs from Rose Mansion and it looks amazing!! I am nearly sure from what I saw that it will be something that I will end up loving. I have binge watched the first half of Iyashi no Otonari-san ni wa Himitsu ga aru, but I took a break when ML suddenly understood that his behaviour was creepy. Is it worth watching after? Does he mellow down after that? He was definitely a pure yandere before this. I mean he seemed so sweet in front of her, but looked chillingly cold with anybody who might try to separate them. I love these type of characters so much! I always try to watch 1 Cdrama per year on the off chance that things have improved and Till the End of the Moon might just be my trial of 2024. I am not going to lie, I am skeptical, but ML sounds really good :-) Thank you for all the recommendations and descriptions. I will keep checking your list too. I love all the obsessive/ yanderific spoilers, because instead of turning me off, they make me want to watch even more.
I spend every day wishing I could forgot about Born Again and watch it again for the first time. 😔 Which of…
Sorry this is from 2 years ago, life got very busy for me. I wish for the same when it comes to Born Again, there is nobody really like Born Again ML. Empress Ki ML has some similarities, more so in his obsessiveness and some of the things he does to keep FL, but his personality is very different. I dream of finding a ML similar to BA...
Great list! So sad that I've watched almost all of them. You might add "Secret" from 2013. The first half of the…
I can never finish Secret, don't know what it is... Technically from what I have heard of it and watched, I would say many people that like obsessive guys would enjoy it
Great collection! Do Giant and East of Eden qualify for this list?
I have not watched East of Eden. I did watch Giant selectively and it should really be on the list, but I feel like since I didn't the whole drama I would struggle to describe it.
Many in the comment section: "they switched SJK with LJG, will this work?" Me: "oh they cast LJG, got to finally watch the previous season I guess, to understand this one " 😆
