Second hand embarrassment all the way, but I made sense considering what his character is like

Don't know why, but the ML's personality in this drama kind of reminds me of the ML from The Greatest Love.

I began suspecting the same while watching the last episode. He seems obsessive, determined and manipulative.

Unlike many here, I am loving the love triangle of the drama, nor do I find the pace slow.

Yes same for me. Got into them in 2017 and I do have some of my favourites released after that, but for the most part I tend to get addicted and binge watch the older ones more often than the newer ones.

Usually the dramas with such low ratings have a ton of negative comments. In my opinion the first two episodes were brilliant and the comments on here good, what the heck happened?
From one side it feels fresh, but from another it gives me a pre-2018 drama vibe ( love 2010-2017 kdrama era the most) not sure how it'll unfold though

Just asked my boyfriend, he tells me he does it when he wants to be funny. So I guess it should be seen as a joke?
However, personally I wonder whether it's sometimes done, because it can be convenient when it's the nearest hard surface :-)))

Cannot recall the moment from the drama, but I saw it done with hard boiled eggs in Korea. Not sure how often it happens though.
Apparently it's only painful if one hits him/herself with an egg without breaking it, so it has to be done with enough force to break the egg :-/

Looked like he was embarrassed to hell and back by what he was doing prior to her arrival. So I am thinking no to accusing, but at the same time he also looks like the type who would come up with any excuse to stay close to her, so if it suits this purpose then possibly :-)

Not all, I definitely see dramas that get a lot of hate and are rated below 7.5, but I cannot get why... Unfortunately many of them are down below on this list...

All I see are people complimenting her on speaking a foreign language well. MDL is a mainly English speaking platform, so most of us speak English.
I am sure it happens on other platforms with different languages for other actors too.
I am not sure about others, but I don't see what is so wrong with this compliment?

Traditional Korean breakfast is rice, some sort of soup and side dishes. Many people nowadays have switched to toasts, cereal and coffee for the lack of time, especially on the weekdays. However, from my observation many prefer the traditional breakfast when time allows it.
As for plain rice I haven't seen anybody eat it plain yet ( I live in Korea, but I am not Korean, so just describing what I am witnessing), but very often it might seem as if it's eaten separate, because it isn't mixed with the sauce ( as is considered normal in European culture, where I am from). In Korea you'd put a spoonful of rice, then some soup/ stew/ main dish, then some side dishes into your mouth separately, but you kind of chew it all together. Some put rice into their main dish too.

Depends what you are into. I am a kdrama person and rarely watch stuff from other countries, so I find this a bit childish and it has an almost anime feel to it. However, it is a very quick and enjoyable watch if you are in the mood for something light. Binge watched the first 8 episodes and would have watched more if they were available

I would even say fantastic eye for characters, almost all of his main roles look exceptionally challenging

Well it already looks like he is beginning to try and detach himself from what he feels, because he is on a mission, so you might be on to something...
I do hope that it will not go on for a long time though, not the biggest fan of 'denying his feelings' kind of MLs, I may end up with SLS then 🤣

"Drama is bad" instead of "in my opinion" and the like, statements like these nearly got me into trouble when writing my dissertation, as this appears as a statement rather than a point of view.

I don't think she is all that unrealistic, just people like her are a bit rare. Not sure if you ever heard of MBTI personality types, but she'd be an INFP ( Sa Bin not Ha Eun) in my opinion, same as Gong Ji Chul by the way ( not Jong Bum). Many INFPs tend to have problems organising their thoughts into words properly, but they often mean well.

Curious to know whether you think the low ratings were justified after you complete it 😉

So freaking happy Born Again has made it into the list. While it's not a masterpiece, it definitely deserves higher rating than 7.2! In my opinion the acting of many of the cast members, the ost, the original idea, the way it keeps you guessing until the last minute and the entertainment value should have put it up to at least 8.
