Have you seen Search WWW? He is NOT cold at all lol
They are two very different type of dramas. Born Again is quite dark. I can't tell you much without spoiling it, but JKY's character in parts of the drama is similar to his other darker characters, but his personality in the first two episodes while still dark is very different from what I have seen him in. Perhaps my favourite role of his, his acting was so unbelievably good.
I think she'll either end up alone or with her guy friend. They certainly focus on him more than other guys. He seems to be the only one whose backstory and feelings they chose to tell as properly as the limited amount of time allows.

Try the first two episodes of Born Again and a short drama called Boy Next Door, he is pretty expressive there :-) I think many characters that he is given to play demand a certain amount of coldness. Apart from it I think he is absolutely amazing. He has a great screen presence, his expressions and movements are the definition of what screen acting should be, which is as natural as possible. See much of kdrama world has heightened, almost theatrical acting in it, which makes actors like JKY stand out a lot.
He did too many bad deeds. Even if it is in the name of Love (which I don't believe), he is beyond redemption.
Oh I don't want them to go back together! I am on MH's ship for Da Li :-) However I am curious about TJ's character, I like watching evilish, obsessive guys in dramas trying to get the girl they care about. However, unless there is a very good story as to why it's possible, I don't want those guys to actually be with the girl. In this drama's case Da Li doesn't care for TJ anymore and I would hate to see her end up with a guy she doesn't care about

You are possibly right, we are yet to see why exactly he wants her back with such passion. Yet considering how he kept searching for her after the recent adoption scandal didn't seem 'business deal only' to me. Neither was his fury with MH very 'I want this woman, because I need her land'. If they turn around and tell me it was all about money now I'll most likely be dissapointed with the script writing and the way Kwon Yool was directed. Had it been before episode 11, I'd say yes, very possible, but reading the narrative in the last two episodes, I need a very strong case for him caring mostly about the scheme and not Da Li

And is that why he wants her back like a man possessed now? Because he doesn't love her? I want to know what happened. If they don't explain it, this whole situation would make no sense.

Agreed, those are his main feelings towards her. She loved him once though and I think he must have loved her too ( and does so in his own way to this day). Why I believe so? Because I saw Dali being happy with him, I think she is too perceptive about human emotions not to notice her partner not loving her.
Everybody hating on Tae Jin, but I am rather curious what the heck happened all those years ago. To be honest they are showing him to be so overly obsessed with Da Li that they must make the reason big enough for me to believe it. Clearly it wasn't as simple as it seems now.
Wow just finished ep 10 and as I suspected from the beginning Tae Jin is involved in all this mess. The cousin didn't seem capable enough to be the main culprit and they needed the shock element for the audience, otherwise it'd be way too predictable. That assemblyman seems to think that Tae Jin is blinded by his interested in Da Li. Love myself some dark characters that are in love with a FL in dramas. Now let's see whether the politician is right or is it all about money. This might bring my interested in the character from 100 to 0 in a second :-))

Wow so many recommendations, thank you! I am only adding the dramas that I have watched as I want to describe what kind of guy the obsessive guy is in my own way.
However, I will recommend people to check out the comments in the description, so no doubt even if I don't get to watch some of the dramas, your comment will still help people.
I will try to check out your suggestion as time allows.
I have a recommendation. Lu Yun Qi from the drama Jun Jiu Ling. He is not the ML but more of a second lead. However,…
Thank you. I am normally watching kdramas, but recently trying to watch more cdramas. I often love them at the beginning, but find it difficult to stay connected with the stories as they progress. So I was in fact looking for more recent stuff to see whether things changed. Going to check out your suggestion :-)
Does this drama contain love triangle? I don't want to see Kwon Yool hurt
The way things are right now I can definitely see him getting hurt, because yes he is in love with the FL. We don't know for sure whether he is a good or a bad guy though yet
Normally I looks at the comments then watch the new episode, of a pngoing drama I'm glad i didn't see it the KISS…
Wow I am on the same page! Dropped LORS, it's not bad, but dissapointed me personally. While this drama was an unexpected, delightful surprise, hope the second half will be as good as the first.
Plz confirm if it contains mind numbing ex, revenge, childhood connections or not. Is it office romance or less…
I think it's a full on romance drama, or at least it appears as one, no childhood connections or revenge at all, or at least not yet ( still early days) as for a mind numbing ex, yes there is a very obsessive and clingy one, pining for the FL. Loving the drama so far
