Personal preference, this drama and story is not everyone’s cup of tea. If you enjoy season 1, you must definitely watch this season as it will have an end and closure to the story. Waiting for ep to drop then watch is a good idea, can avoid the waiting. This page has a lot of invested fans on the different CPs and characters, so this page is just filled with exciting drama on its own🤣. The first 6ep picking up from s1, focus on the lost 😠 f love themes, so can be an emotional ride but the story is still progressive. The political plot is witty and I like how CX manages to gain trust in his ruling. As for relationship, it’s slow burnt, so if you are watching be prepared that FL’s choice or HE will only be at the end. In current FL is definitely grieving over her lost of choice/freedom and relationships she wanted. Enjoy!

Just some random thoughts about XY’s growth on love:
XY never knew love as her trauma in young age. When she first met Y17, she hasn’t really know that kind of romantic love, it was just rescue and savior role. But when she met TSJ as a Princess, TSJ was the first man that asked her to promise her heart to him, so she gave, but he broke her heart because of his circumstances and XY was broken. However it’s through XL, she learnt different type of love with forbearance, the freedom of choice and how her needs is important and being herself.
XL taught her to love herself so she can love TSJ again in the end, so he plays a big part in her learning to love journey. Just my take for now…

And also keeping in mind XY’s traumatic past, it’s going to take tons for her to finally decide the best man for her. There’s a part of me always wonder, would she choose differently if she had know what XL done for her, but again it’s pointless to consider as XL can never be able to see himself forgoing his loyal to Chen Rong army and choose love, so best she doesn’t know.😅

It’s interesting to see that at every moment with LR, PWX will sweet talk, affirmed, validated her beauty and shamelessly show his affection to her. 🤩
