I think you’re a bit confused about how her identity works.LWY isn’t just a “mix” of other people with…
Was reading the change of discussion that you sparks, interesting exchange. This reminds me of the recent Del Toro’s movie on Frankenstein aka in this drama, LWY. So the puppet is self aware and can learn and love. Does it matters to JL? And this self aware concept in LWY, where does that come from….is it a composite of past memories from the various parts put together or is it fabricated from JiuYing? I hope we have a satisfactory closure for all these set up.
nope u r wrong here, u can see that when wuyi tells the truth to jiling, he puts her hand on his heart and says…
☝🏻Yes, this is what’s going on based on the latest ep. Both are puppets and the puppeteers are Jiu Ying and Chi Wen, they are connecting via their puppets🙃🙃🙃Craziness.
Except for a few bad things this drama is great, I will rate it 9/10☺️ it’s rare to see a drama where the…
I don’t think she lost her memories, she was just not living in the present since her brother died and her childhood sweetheart betrayed her. She is like a walking zombie until ML came along.
I told myself I will slow watch this…but alas since I started, I have been binged watching over the weekend and finally coming to the end soon. I am glad the express had dropped, so now I can complete this, it’s like reading a thick book in one seating, the storyline and acting just keeps you going. 😅

😅@Mina, my MDL friend, I can see you are very sore at how this script has changed some aspect of DX and his storyline, as well as giving other characters more screentime. I do not disagree with you, but I also want to preserve my understanding from novel about both DX and HSM, and continue to enjoy this drama as much I could. Peace🤍
I need recommendations of crime dramas that have an ML that thinks like Hansheng in solving cases.
If you like crime and psychological analysis, you can try ‘Under the skin’ or ‘The truth Within’, and the whole series of ‘Medical Examiner Qin Min’. Qin Jun Jie has one quite recent drama on ‘The Blemish Flaw’, which is very interesting, written from a crime enthusiast blogger perspective.
...lost everything. Such a pitiful character T-T I felt so bad for him. How he was always on the verge of crying…
I felt really really sad for Jiang Cheng too. It’s so interesting that this story explored a parallel journey for all the three main leads and Jing Boran and Qin Jun Jie acted so well in this story…actually I always enjoyed their show, they never disappoint.
More of my thoughts: we are not talking about a bond between two mortals here . It’s a supernatural being and…
Yes. DX is indeed mentally strong, at very young age from a rich boy in a protected official family, he learnt he has to survive after that kidnapped incident. After he left the assassin group, his only goal was to redeem his past, to unite the country so there will be no more war (so young kids like him would never fall victim again). He matured fast and he is very observant, one of his skill set is he learnt fast and he has photographic/eidectic memory. He never blames his parents as he was so focus on fighting for the greater good as seen the suffering of others as he thought that’s the way to life. HSM is his realisation to living, he could easily give up living and die in war. He is fascinated by HSM’s slowing down and enjoying every senses when she experiences them, it also helps him to re-learn a lot about living, and her strong sense of loyalty and responsibility to her spiritual world. To both of them, their inner worlds are somewhat similar. They are also very arrogant in their own worlds. lol. So when she asked him to live on and wait for her to return, it serves as a reminder to him that he is not alone now.
Hahhaha…pardon my long rant. I really love this two characters;).
Hahahha…can never understand GJM’s mind…thought some mystery got solved and indentity clarified, then next moment ep., 20, it’s confusion again. So I read in the comments that it’s the time traveler / time loop trope…watching this show is really like a rollercoaster fluctuation of confusion and clarity😅
Ep 33, the battles begin…HSM reminding YK of his obsession of power and control, even though he insisted it’s her heart he long for…hahahha…this spirit has no insight.
However he acts out later on, Jiang Cheng is a tragic character. Imagine the incredible stress and loneliness…
I agreed with your views. I sympathize with Jiang Cheng. Hus position as an undercover cop means he risks being exposed and dying anytime like his other colleagues. His character reminds me a lot of Tony Leung’s character in Infernal Affairs, he really needs to be very stable and clear minded to survive this and not suffer from PTSD. I wouldn’t blame him or even FL for choosing him again. And Jiang Hansheng knew he doesn’t stand a chance if she had knew Jiang Cheng’s true identity earlier.
Yes, you are correct. The novel YK is more obsessed with control and power…so his Obession with HSM is not so much about love. But the drama as scripted a different angle for YK and made his madness driven by a motivation of jealousy and romantic interest towards HSM. It is perhaps as someone mentioned earlier, to give SML more screen time😅
I hope we have a satisfactory closure for all these set up.
