Actually he is not a terrible character. His pressure forces ML to realise his feelings towards FL. And if we watch on, he is actually hardworking and also does care for his company and safety of work, even though he initially wants to stir ML’s emotions by using FL, but he is also genuinely touch by FL’s straightforward character. And of course our FL is aware and call him out.

Agreed with your points. Whether is Xue Family or Rong family, they both have unfair treatment and unhealthy upbringing. The only slight positive point is that RSB is more humane and kind. I kind of felt that the last 6ep was a lost course from the main theme. Instead it feels like a mini family drama on its own. I would have wish the final arc, we get to see LJL’s style without RSB help, she is just an onlooker and supporter.🤷🏻‍♀️

Agreed with you on this. The last 6 ep. felt like a separate mini drama story. The last arc feels rather disjointed and over dramatic. But overall it’s a fun watch 8.5/10 for me too;).
