Just want to share some perspectives. If you look at it on superficially, it seems so easy to make judgement that either FL is a pushover or ML is a doormat. But look at the background. FL lost her parents since young and being adopted, her adoptive parents seems to treat her well and provide her the best but were all about wanting her to be successful. How would she know that their love is conditioned and how would she knew what they would do behind her back. So being brought up and tame in a cage like FL said, how can she find courage to break through or know what’s the right thing for herself. ML on the other hand, although also adopted, his adoptive parents showed him true genuine love and they allowed him to be who he is. So ML is kind of FL’s strength, so when she was drunk, she said she wish to see him step forward so she can continue to believe that she can. But at this time, she hasn’t able to accept ML because she is insecure about herself not ML’s love. So it’s very acceptable and good depth character building. ML so far as portrayed that he does knew FL so well that’s why he doesn’t want to guilt trip her into giving up everything for their love. 🥰

FL’s adoptive mother is also the same actress that acts in Triple Body and a key villain, she does really seems suitable for that kind of role.

Some one mentioned that based on the sequence of the novel, the major earth quake may happen at or 15…and after that they got together. Something to look forward to.😍

That’s a sad trend to know that divorce is more common nowadays. Hence in drama it’s nice to see long lasting love or faithful love, 10yrs or 20yrs, still loving each other.

For women, not for men. In Chinese culture, older men are more charming😍
