True. He is setting up a situation making it easier for YaNan to go off and settle her stuff. I always felt he would have guessed her background, But he may have wanted her t be in his side. And that’s something he can’t control. YaNan going over to NanGong May be useful as maybe she will end up assisting YX. If live is also a plot, that’s truly scheming. We shall see.

If YX is purposely showing his moping emotions to gain sympathy and showing others his weakness, that will be a very smart move. Yes, even he seems drunk most of the time, he is still fully aware of his own actions. Wondering what he is strategizing now.

I felt the romance, heart broken plot quite a drag. Two ep. of him drinking himself silly.
His weak heart makes you wonder how is he going to manage his scheme. I felt rather bipolar the state he is in. Maybe because I was not really invested in their relationship since the beginning.

Yes, you are right. The ending raised quite a lot of subjective interpretation. Some groups said OE, some said SE because the leads were not together. Some said HE as TTJ is happy and peaceful. Some said BE because it was too rush and not properly explained. So depends🤣.
