I think more like CJM figured out LSS is YXW and wanted to reconcile but she is afraid of having any connection with him and rejected him. They may push and pull for a while, however feels less angst and more sweetness. Think they do get together for a while.

Not soul shifting. YXW and LSS is the same person. YXW is actually a fragment of LSS’s soul in the novel. I don’t think the drama change that. It will be revealed later.

The rest I full agreed with your points. The story arc has to happen as such to drive it to next stage. This story has a lot of karma view on cause and effect. So I do admire how the screenplay has re-written it so far. Yearning to see the next arc.

Quan Quan is so so adorable! He has such high EQ for a little boy, able to manage his father and mother so well.

She is still in denial till the end, she never dare to confront her own heart. Hence she is always convincing herself that she is here just for the mission.
