He is as demon as can be, does that answer🤣🤣🤣😅😅. Abusive, unpredictable, evil, aggressive, abusive, manipulative at time. It is what it is. But definitely not as tamed as TTJ in the drama, the drama re-scripted the character to be more humane in my perspectives. I do like TTJ in this drama by LYX.

In brief summary, It will be TTJ searching for YXW’s soul for 500 years, till he was taken in by the immortal sect to become CJM. LSS is an egg for a long while till she is born and adopted by the immortal sect. You want to recall more of the novel, the FAQ discussion thread above is useful.

The novel has more violent plot. It’s an acquired taste on its own. There were abused, tortured and rape, sexual violent, yes. The pull and push between TTJ and LSS is definitely a lot worst in the novel. Literally a love hate relationship all the time. But again it’s novel. The drama tame it down for its good reasons. I am so far okay with how the drama is. And it’s needed that way so can pass censorship. You can read the novel, probably can give you some background and clarity of why certain characters’ behave certain ways.

Ah…the make up team really need some major reflection and lots of rethinking. Good thing that LYX is a beautiful man, he at least can carries some of the looks.

I noticed Somehow it’s a trend to make XianXia male lead with thick white make up and super red lips and over the top eye shadows!!!!

It’s interesting that many feels it like a rape. MY has full control and participation of his action, so technically not rape.

Yeah been answered many times as it’s confusing for some. Let’s review from drama perspectives, its intention is close enough to the novel, small details are neglect-able. It’s actually not that complicated. SJ just felt she needed to get what she deserves as MY’s wife, which is her wedding night (sex) and furthermore he has asked her to leave, she felt she wanted to claim that. As she has been in with love him for more than a few hundred years. She decided to use the drug on him, which only will weaken him in the beginning and make him lost his voice. But you see after the first initial kiss, it’s all him also wanted to do it with her. And obviously with MY’s power, he can be easily diffused the drug effects if he wants to. So it’s mutual, and not rape.

And one wonder why TTJ didn’t call upon his birds to figure out who put the poison…the demon has become complacent.
