Ep 30, I don’t understand with HCF’s rational and logical mind, why would he blamed Robin so strongly without understanding the whole truth? Why did he just believe his Shifu so blatantly?

Ep29, such positive attitude in a young couple (HCF & SY), nicely crafted dialogue in a couple conversation on supporting each other unconditionally and respecting each other as strong independent individuals. Such healthy symbiotic ideal couple relationship.

Is it just me. Noticed a lot of such portrayal of intense mother-daughter’s relationships. Recently even saw it on animation, “Turning Red”.

That’s a great point, very possible, her mom’s strong opposition seems so unusual, possibly some trauma or fear.

Ep 11 and 12, the start of friendship between FL and ML. Cute to see the subtle influence which the CX has on GNT. He is actually quite tolerant of her behaviour. Her scolding him, if it’s to Jiang, it will likely be labeled as insubordination.

Social media can be toxic in that way. A lot of people watched show based on their own expectations and color lenses, often not objective. And there will some just haters for their own reasons. So far I feel both ML andFL delivered their role well and according to the character design set for this drama. Don’t be too bothered by it. Let’s just excitedly enjoy this series. I was wondering why the next ep is releasing so slowly.

Ep 27, Robin’s great advice to HCF on how to deal with difficult future mother-in-law: “ Imagine if you have to manage the toughest lock, what do you need…” hahaha

Correction. I only like uniform groups such as pilot, police, firefighter, military, etc. Don’t fancy other types…hahaha. And I agreed, her BF did not suitable for that style.

Ep 25, wow even DouBao brought a companion home. Cute!

I so agreed with the over exaggeration, it’s like forcing a rock bottom with bottomless pit, again and again so may be to create a lot of emotions in audience hence the come back for the FL can be strong. However IMO it’s a bit too much and unnecessary. I saw this in a couple of C dramas and I dropped them.

I am still back here once a while. Reviewing the comments, gave me some insights to the moments of this drama which I still love. I watched a lot of c-drama, somehow L&P, LX and ZY, gave me that bit of magical sparks that I am not letting go yet. L&P is not a super complicated drama but yet its simplicity has depth with complex character ark. The year is ending soon. Couldn’t really find anything much to fill this void…hahaha. Hopefully next year there will be more of such good drama pieces.

The romance script was not the typical C-drama. If you like ‘You are my hero’, I felt you will appreciate this piece of drama too. Just have to keep watching and endure some parts (which were crucial to the story ark) till the end. Hopefully you can find the sparks. If not that’s fine too, it may not be everybody’s cup of tea.
