I don't think Pat and Pran, especially Pat, realized yet just how much they care for each other, and I'm not talking about their obvious bantering-bickering-fighting-flirting-all-in-one moments. They share a connection for quite some time, and as much as they try to deny, it's clear they enjoy each other's companies, they have fun together, and yes there's attraction from both sides. I definitely like the pace, the flashbacks are a nice touch and explain a lot of things, like, what they have isn't out of nowhere, it's been going for a while, but now I don't think they'll be able to escape from it. I can't wait to see more.
Also Wai is a good friend, I like him a lot so far.
So far this is a 10/10 for me. I like it a lot, it's entertaining and I like the plot. Nothing wrong with clichés if they're delivered the right way. Pat and Pran just click, no matter how much they fight and disagree just for the sake of it, they just click.
Aside from their parents who I really dislike for all of this mess, I really can't seem to like Pat's friends. I think Pran's are much more understanding and likable for that matter.
I can't talk about the whole series, because I only watched Mark and OuWen parts, and though I understand that they weren't the lead couple and had less screen time, I still feel that after they got together, everything just seemed like an afterthought. Nothing was all that exciting and even their difficulties were just... Well.
Their ending was cute, I can't deny, but it still was missing something for me.
I get the conflicts, and build up before a couple gets together, and that's totally fine by me, especially if it's delivered in a certain way, but this episode felt a little underwhelming to put it simply. Still, seeing the preview for next week's episode, I hope we can move forward with the plot, considering it's already episode 9. I can't say I hate this series, because I really don't, but it frustrates me...
Anyways, I really like Aue, not only for his handsome face, but despite the directing and the slower-than-we're-used kind of pace, I think his eyes convey a lot of emotion.
I think they're great, and their scenes were lovely. Pob's shyness was spot on, and the awkwardness was fitting to the scene, in my opinion, it was cute.
As for the rest... We've seen this plot a thousand times before so I'm not too excited about it, tbh.
Honestly, they picked the best people, in my opinion. They're all very different from one another, and it works so well in the end. Wish Gun could've stayed, but he left early for a good cause. Tay Tawan is the best replacement (and pet).
GMM is not always the best, but this project was definitely a great idea.
So... Pregnancy plot is here. I really hoped it wouldn't be the case, but it is: Joanna is pregnant and of course, it seems, from the preview to next week's episode, that Mark really is the father, and that this is something that's going to affect his relationship with OuWen big time.
I'll keep on watching because I really like them, but this is one of my least favorite plots.
The way they portray cooking and food coupled with fond memories and love, was beyond my expectations. I'm all for it.
Characters so far are all likeable, and even the girls having a crush on Aek (which is totally understandable btw), were funny.
Gameplay is his lovely self, it's impossible to dislike him.
Aek's mom seems very sweet and supportive, just wants the best for her son.
Main characters, Aek is an all-around good boy, trying his best. He's someone you instantly root for. I have to say I fell in love with Chef Aue the minute he woke up and put a Beatles record on. Dude's gorgeous.
I also love the concept of Aek having something Aue seems to be missing, something he's looking for. They have a natural connection in my eyes, and their scenes were great.
For those who are interested, here's a link to the Mark/Ou Wen cut (I think they're adding the English subs later, but it's possible to understand what's going on, even without it):

Still, like I said, so far 10/10.
Not gonna lie and say I love the whole fist fighting thing between the faculties, but it fits the narrative.
It's obvious how Pat and Pran both care for each other, despite their best efforts to avoid it and pretend that they don't.
I like the pacing, the storytelling, the flashbacks, and how they keep getting thrown into each other's lives without even meaning to.
Ohm and Nanon look great paired together.
Finally, I can say that I'm definitely looking forward to every Friday from now on (especially after seeing the credit scenes of what's to come).

Mark and OuWen's scenes are few, but the remaining parts are very important to their story.
