Now I don't trust Gumpa and I don't know why. He knows so much, and I mean, what's in this for him? Also Sean told Gumpa whatever he found out about White didn't he?
Yok really pulled some Titanic / Jack Dawson shit and the vulnerability of Dan on that scene where he was completely bare was just beautiful. He's still a cop and though I like him, I don't know if he's trustable either.
I'm so glad Sean kissed White knowing he is White and not Black (I think). He wasn't even pretending not to flirt, he just went for it, and then they hugged, and the whole trust thing, it was beautiful.
Yes, the main couple is Akk and Theo, and I honestly don't see anything wrong with that, considering most series/movies, mainstream, BL or not, rely on main couples, despite the plot. Someone mentioned about how they will get there, and that's the main point for me. With so many different guys, how are they going to get together? How is it going to work?
I get it might not be everyone's cup of tea and that's totally fine, but the ratings are a little lower than they should be. We've seen many, and I mean MANY worse things than this.
Getting cuffed? No problem. Being manhandled? Easy. Talking back to your crush in the most defiant and ironic manner, knowing way too well that he's a cop? Yeah, definitely. He really suggested to have a fistfight at some point because according to his own words, he could surely win. That boy was ready, he saw his opportunity and he took it. Good for him. Confident king.
The whole "power to the people" vibes from this episode. The LGBTQ+, marriage equality, rainbow flag moments were just beautiful. Incredibly beautiful.
Another thing, I loved the moment where Yok tried to talk some sense into Sean while giving him time to think. I like how they develop relationships between all characters.
Speaking of Yok, I can see why he's so interested in Dan/Unar, I was sweating during all of their scenes, he's hot HOT, geez. It's been a while since I've felt so much tension between characters, the way I feel it between them. Their shared passion for art, their mutual interest on one another. I'm in.
Sean and White... Man, can't wait for next week, really, it's unfair to end the episode like that. I really need Sean to apologize properly, though.
I'm not an expert by any means, in French or even English, considering they're both not my 'mother tongue', but one thing I know, is how hard it is to be confident while trying to speak/write in a foreign language, so I respect the actor's effort to do so, because it's not easy.
Also, I can see the similarities between them, but I don't think they look like twins or related at all.
Cute first episode, just the right amount of moments between the two of them, it made sense, and it wasn't over the top, I like it.
Hoping this is good and that they can have a fair chance to do their own thing without living in the shadow of what BBS was, for all 10 episodes. At first I can comprehend to some extent, but not on the long run. Don't get me wrong, I do love BBS (a lot, actually), but I just don't think it's fair to compare it without even giving this a chance. It's another story, with other actors, and 10 weeks with them from now on. It can be good, it can be great, it can be mild, it can be everything.
Yok and Gram besties, I loved their conversation and the little moment they had.
I think what broke me the most was seeing the powerlessness of Sean's mother, her disbelief that her husband would do such a thing, and Sean seeing all that, knowing way too well it was all a lie... I completely get him and his reasons to be blinded by his vengeance, and also his disappointment in White.
The last scene was intense to say the least, White can't seem to catch a break, can he? It seems he did what he did with a reason, considering next week's preview.
I know there's so much to unfold other than the romance part, and though I definitely see something blooming between them as messy as it is, coupled with huge sexual tension, it seems like next episode will evolve it even more.
Gun had a live with P'Jennie, while on set, and the director P'Nuchy was also there. She mentioned a few things, and one of the things was that on episode 7 "they'll start to fall in love".
Gun is standard for great acting, always have been. Actually, everyone in this series does a great job, but I can't help but mention how much Off Jumpol has improved. The whole body language and acting with his eyes thing. I'm glad Sean is so different from what he played before.
He's beyond gorgeous, he's humble and an amazing actor, I mean he's only 21 and I feel like he's about to accomplish so much more. It's impossible not to like this guy, honestly.
The only thing I don't like is how they seem to put their feelings completely aside to just apologize to their parents, especially Pat, considering his dad was the one to be blamed the most for this whole mess of a situation.
I'm not saying they should fight, cry and scream, and I understand they must've been worried sick about them, but still...
As part of story and character development, honestly I feel that that EP 11 ending is actually quite good. In…
Realistically speaking, it's not even wishful thinking, but I'm pretty sure they're going to find their way back to each other. More mature, and all. I don't see their love going away anytime soon.
I expected it to be bittersweet, and it was. Beautiful, meaningful and sad. Pran's song is the most heartfelt thing, he wrote it for Pat, there's no miscommunication, no misunderstanding, they know what they feel for each other, and yet things are still complicated and I hate it here. Especially the part where they show us what would it be like it their parents accepted them and their relationship, but in reality things are different. I can only imagine how much it hurts.

The OST for this series is just fenomenal.

I'm definitely watching it.

Can't wait.

All in all, beautiful episode.
