The ending is probably what made this drama stand out most for me . It is not a typical happy ending or tragic one, it was very symbolic and made sense for the story they were telling. Sometimes love doesn’t have a clean resolution, and I liked that the drama didn’t try to sugarcoat anything. It showed that letting go can also be a form of love, even if things don’t go back to how they used to be, they can still mean something.

Feud really surprised me. It’s not your typical xianxia with flashy romance; it actually felt a lot more grounded emotionally, even though the setting was still fantasy. The story was slow-paced, I never felt bored because there was always something meaningful behind each scene from the flashbacks .
Bai Lu and Joseph had such good chemistry nothing ever felt forced between them. Their scenes were full of emotion, both of them really portrayed their character well. I liked that their love story wasn’t about just being together, but more about understanding, healing, and sacrifice 🥰

This background fuels his determination to nurture their relationship, even when Yifan feels undeserving of his care. While a genuinely good character may seem rare in real life, characters like Sangyan remind us that they do exist.
