Substantial is incorrect...isn't it one of the highest budget kdrama ever...concept is unprecedented and execution is poor it shouldn't have been tv drama

I think the simplest answer is kdrama viewers before the netflix era were mostly women and all his drama roles were catering to their hidden lust/desires/needs. Otherwise no one can explain his 35 freakin million followers on insta...personally i enjoyed city hunter a lot but rest of his roles nahh, i hv to watch pachinko...his popularity is definitely for his earlier dramas like LOB and he has been very lucky with the female casting

There will be romance but not skinship type...if u r too excited watch the movie i actually liked it, it has steamy scenes but with depth and meaning

Lol it's actually same for me..i enjoyed it during rewatch i feel kind of a relaxing vibes in many of the scenes..it has a lot of feel good moments if u don't focus in the story

I think their relationship was very sweet but the story was fully made for korean tv(family show) and they received some criticism so they probably omitted whatever skinship scenes they had. If u read the original manhwa u will be shocked
