Some part of me wants him to boycott every award except baeksang. He's popular enough without them. They just want to use his and other popular names to create buzz

It's so weird he got nominated for wts but not for twoe in any awards show in 2023.

Actually from what i have come to know , in korea he is more popular as a handsome actor and there are lot of preconceived biases like " handsome actors can't act too much" or " good looking idols can't sing " and so on. That's why he wants to break that image. I don't think he cares too much about those shitty awards(except maybe baeksang)and he shouldn't.

I only learned today that Ji Chang-wook and Kim So-hyun did the Korean voice dubbing for "Your Name."😮

I thought only the production team is same, script writer, director are all different

Ok i watched ep 7 and 8: Much much better than 5 and 6 i guess it's better to binge this drama than watching weekly. But Speaking as a jcw fan i definitely think his role was not good enough; no backstory no development nothing, it's like they made the script such that he can do his crazy action scenes and go home. Don't get me wrong his acting and all was great and that's what we expect from him but i couldn't see much relevance of his character to the actual story. They literally showed the same 2 or 3 scenes bibi and jcw had together at the end of ep 8 😀.(that we already saw). Even ep 7 and 8 felt like i was watching the story of the detective, his daughter and the prosecutor.

Nah many collectible items are found only in 2nd hand markets

Tbh it kinda insane that he did dramas like empress ki, healer, k2 and suspicious partner almost back to back. I think it will be unfair to expect that kind of streak. I am really looking forward to his future works, hope the scripts do justice to his talent.

Btw the casting directors were insane on this one, i have read that before njh,lee sung kyung and han ji min were in talks to play that role and i can TOTALLY see both of them nailing this role ( maybe not the kisses tho😀)

Well i am surprised moving, big mouth and snowdrop didn't make it 😀, but it's great congrats to the team. I guess disney will definitely not let jcw go away from them

I guess overall top position is a big thing after competing with english shows too (the show in 2nd position is pretty popular too, it stars eddie redmayne who is an oscar winner)

Jcw in a variety show told that he met with the director many times and liked the script but negotiations with netflix is pending so nothing confirmed.
