He is an animator- how do you know for sure "he" used AI excessively? Asking since you sound like it distracted…
Ohhh! It's okay; everyone has their own thoughts and perspective. I got a bit worked up; sorry for being aggressive. Me personally, I get bothered by even a little use of AI in movies or shows, so it did bother me, but your point is also valid.

The characters he was designing were AI. And yes, the drama is beautiful, and the cinematography is healing and alluring, but still it doesn't change the fact that they used AI (generative AI), which uses tons of water everyday. And tbh this criticism isn't only for this drama, but a lot of dramas recently have been using AI. And how can you say that art wasn't the main focus? If you take out the fact that the male lead was an animator and he never drew, there is no inception point of this drama. And while we are talking about art, animators draw their own characters, you will never see them using AI; AI is ruining art. The making of a drama, a film, a series, or a painting is art. AI is just boring and lifeless and honestly doesn't even come close to real art by humans.
They really wrapped up the show really well within 12 eps, but tbh it was rushed. solid 7.5/10 for me (i was going to give it 8/10 but the use of AI throughout this beautiful show really pissed me off)
What's with the ratings? is it good or bad because I really want to watch jisoo's acting in this one + im a big fan of SIG but at the same time I don't want to waste my time
Can someone explain the meaning of the stingy cell's hat like thing? The fish twisted in between two ropes potentially?
Hey, I looked it up cuz it made me curious as well; i will quote the exact thing i got from Google." It is a visual reference to a famous Korean folk tale about a legendary miser named Jaringobi. According to the folk tale, Jaringobi was so incredibly stingy that he didn't want to spend money on side dishes to eat with his rice. To solve this, he hung a dried yellow croaker (gulbi) from the ceiling of his dining room. Instead of actually eating the fish, he would take a spoonful of plain rice, look up at the hanging fish to "imagine" the salty taste, and continue eating his rice. There is even a famous part of the story where he scolds his son for looking at the fish twice in one meal, shouting, "It's too salty! Stop looking at it so much!"

AGAIN THE BEST SEASON YET <33
They didn't get much screentime in the show and neither here. This is so cruel.
