Yes, Season 1 was a gem <3 but I still wouldn't say this is as worst as some of the bl sequels I've watched. SamYu's chemistry & acting deserves all the awards.


P. S: Since S3 is in talks, I don't know how will they extend this story. I don't want them to mess their relationship up again just for the sake of another season.

I know both of them are equally responsible for messing their relationship up. Communication is the key in any relationship but I won't say their reasons are unbelievable or illogical. Coz long distance relationships are tough. I've seen my friends in LDR drifting apart & eventually breaking up. But Shide was the first one to realise that their relationship was getting rocky so I really wished he made efforts to meet Shuyi instead of getting into a stupid deal with dad. But his dad was surely manipulative coz he succeeded in using Shide's weakness to make him give in. But my question is when Shide came to meet Shuyi it was already 2 years late and his dad made him wait for another 5 years so are you telling they were separated for 7 years? And after 5 years, why didn't Shide come to Shuyi? I mean their first meeting after 7 years (?) looked like a coincidence rather than a planned one (by Shide).

But I didn't expect to enjoy SY's father so much lol. I can't even completely be angry on him due to his cuteness.
