I'm so bitter that we were robbed of happy ending especially when someone like Biang chang got hers :( Why do they have to cut down 18 episodes? 🤧 I hope they'll release an epilogue or something of their reunion. Nonetheless, we can always consider LIS as their happily ever after. I always wanted to check out LIS for all the hype it was getting but I was putting it off for some reason. Now I know that it was meant for me to watch LIS after completing TTEOTM as it's continuation.

Exactly my thoughts! It's amusing how Runyu & Tantai Jin have so much similarities yet distinct. One has always had noble cause but ended up consumed by his vengeance and selfishness while other was born to destroy the world yet ended up giving his life to save the world. I'm so glad that I haven't watched "Love is sweet" yet. Because I truly believe "LIS" is meant to be watched after TTEOTM.

Maybe if I rewatch now, I'll have different opinion. It was a long time ago since I watched "AOL".
I actually liked him in the beginning until he started making poor choices out of vengeance. Obv, there was certain times where I sympathised with him. However I was biased towards Xu feng back then.
