Dont mind me... just saying for the fun of it...If ever LYX and Bailu dated, do they even have the time? It seems…
The lead couples of "Le coup de foudre" weren't revealed as a real life couple until they were spotted with their child. So, I realised Chinese couples can be super secretive with their relationships. 😂
If there is no world, then there will be no light (goddess) and no darkness (demon)? And yet yin cannot exist…
Sorry, I marked it as a spoiler. I was just talking about his intentions. Susu thought that he could keep living as Cang Jiumin and she could have the evil bone in her forever. His death was a choice he chose.
Firstly, Screw you new Chinese regulations for cutting short the whole drama and robbing us of many more wonderful things which went unwitnessed.
Now back to the point, I have been watching many Chinese historical dramas (both Wuxia and Xianxia) over years. I've liked some however I've been always left unsatisfied with one thing or the other (bad cgi, annoying main leads, mediocre acting, wasted potential, no chemistry and most importantly bad endings 👀.)
So, I was searching for something to watch over this weekend and came across this drama in the trending section. I casually clicked on episode 1 without any expectation. I never thought my life is not going to be the same after that point (it may sound like a stretch but it's not).
This was like a show I've been waiting to watch all these years. Everything was done to the perfection and there was not even a single dull moment. I was glued to my pc for 2 days straight.
Let's talk about plot and characters : TANTAI JIN - it only took him one frame to capture my attention only to eventually have my heart and soul. It was hard for my eyes to leave him till the end. I was literally BEWITCHED by his presence. The Most charming, alluring, enchanting anti hero of all times. No one deserved happiness and peace more than him. I know in the series, we didn't get to witness it however in my mind he is reunited with his wife and daughter because he deserves nothing less.
Li Susu is also one of my favorite FLs of all time. When the whole world was cruel to him and betrayed him at some point. She was the one to save him time and again. I'm glad they both found each other defying the test of time and death.
Even all the side characters including the crows, insects and bugs has done their roles so well.
Character I hated the most: I don't even have to name her because we all share the same sentiments for her. It just pissed me off that she got her happy ending (I'm such a sadist lol).
I'm not a big fan of tragic endings. I do like open endings. However for this drama, I totally wished for a happy ending for Tantai Jin & Li susu because that's what they both deserved. I couldn't be more grateful for having "Love is sweet" which I'm going to watch now. That's the healing out there for me.
I'll definitely rewatch it over and over again until I overcome this withdrawal symptoms.
It was Runyu that drew me to C drama and how I love Runyu, even now, I can't say I love TTJ more than Runyu, they…
I completely agree with the acting part. Especially I've not watched a top tier acting as close to his in any historical drama so far.
I initially liked Runyu however the way things played out and him acting out of vengeance is what made me hate him. Back then I was someone who couldn't bring myself to like grey characters. I'm definitely going to rewatch AOL sometime soon and who knows my feelings towards Runyu might change now.
I'll read this translated version too. But now I want to read the happy ending

Tantai Jin : I can give my life for the world she loves and wants to protect ðŸ˜ðŸ’”
OMG this recovery pack was much needed as my heart isn't healed from all the angst and pain I went through <3
WHAT. A. MASTERPIECE.
