But as you said, there's still a loop hole here as Tantai Jin has to become the devil god to let that one true god "Susu" kill him. He's not the true god. Also, there has to be no soul left of him if he was a god however there's still some of his soul left in the HGS. So, it indeed shows that there might be a chance for his return.
