I think we were familiar with the writers throwing in unserious humor in between episodes no matter how much angst they have. The DUI case led us to meet adult taesung, and we see how their relationship is right now, I thought it also showed how Sol still had her personality even after going through something so tragic. I liked today's episode. I think the shows did t have a weak or unnecessary epsidor, maybe Eps 9 comes close to a weak one but even that was fun to watch. Maybe because I like analyzing the show so much that I don't mind the funny gags, it gives you a break from All the angst.
Everyone saying that the episode was boring or the weakest, I personally disagree. I mean Sol only had one way to save Sunjae and she took it. Should I remind everyone that they are human beings, they are not always going to make the best decisions, they are driven by their love for each other, as they will do whatever it took to keep the other safe. Also, I see a lot of Sol slander, like do not piss me off, I don't see anyone blaming sunjae for running to save her???
They are human beings driven by love and devotion for each other that they are willing to save their lives. I don't understand what's so hard about this.
Sunjae loves Sol enough to lose his life and Sol loves Sunjae enough to lose his love, both equally yearning and fighting for each other. If anyone deserves their love, its each other.
This episode is vital for that, we knew how much Sunjae and sol are willing to do to save each other but this is the gravity of how much Sol is willing to let go. Sunjae would've made the same decision if he knew his love made her suffer multiple times. Sol lost sunjae as a lover, but he lived, didn't he? That was her main goal, she achieved that. This episode is important to understand how much further sol is willing to push herself into deep despair and pain of yearning.
Yall don't get her like I do FR. I will conclude by saying that one bad word about Im Sol and I will rain hellfire on you, also you will die and go to hell <3
Okay so she's not his first love anymore? what are the writers even doing.
I think she is not his first love anymore but i don't think he fell in love with anyone else as well. I think he focused on what he loved to do which was performing which he achieved in the present timeline.
Im Sol will go down as the most scintillating and unyielding female lead. Her actions are altruistic to the point she hurts herself into deep dejection. She has to live for her, but she lost the most cherished and treasured personage in her life which made her covet life again, made her life prepossessing, made her life she thought to be an atrophy into something worth venturing for. She is pervaded with rue that she could never do that to him as every timeline it was him saving her but this time, she made a choice that if he had never laid his eyes on her, he never would've loved her, yearned for her, pursued her and died for her. Instead, she decided to take his pain of yearning, of loving him for herself.
She is the breath of his life, and he is the light of her life. Without both of them present in their lives, they turn into shells of people filled with love with nowhere to go except to each other.
They will love once again as snow cannot continue to wither and fall without air and light.
To me not involving Sun Jae, fine, it’s her choice and she would rather hurt him than losing him for good. But…
I think she is too focused on saving Sunjae, she didn't think about herself. the first timeline she wanted to save both herself and sunjae but in this timeline she is ready to put herself on danger to keep everyone safe. I mean I get why she didn't want her family to know cuz, 1. there are chances they won't believe her, 2. the last person that interfered the encounter ended up dead, so I get her sacrificing herself to save all those things from happening
My girl Sol is catching heat on Twitter for her choice in ep 12, but I think she did the most Sol thing ever. That taxi stalker dude is like a permanent shadow in her life, especially fixated on her and Sunjae. She knows going with him could put them all in danger, but Sol's selflessness is unmatched. She'd brave anything to keep her love safe.
Honestly, if Sunjae made the same call, folks would be calling him a hero. But Sol? She's the real MVP here. She's been through it all for him, sacrificing her own heart just so he could find happiness. It's crazy how people forget that. Let's give Sol the credit she deserves, folks.
idk about others but this one deserves it... i didnt find a single uninteresting moment in the first 10 eps
I know there's a history of the mdl rating system being unreliable when it comes to rating good dramas that people aren't watching. However, this time it's different. If you check social media, you'll see that the moment a new episode drops, people are already out there making fan art and theories. Even Korea is going crazy over this drama. So, it's only logical that this drama should get a high rating - it truly deserves it.
I never expected to get sucked into this show, but you know what? It's not the plot or the story that's got me hooked—it's Hye Yeon. I swear, if it wasn't for her, I wouldn't be sitting here analyzing and overthinking every little detail. Like, sure, maybe someone else could've played her role, but nobody could've nailed it like KHY did. Sol has just totally stolen my heart. I mean, I legit feel like I'm going nuts not seeing her for like five days straight
I think I'm starting to turn into Sunjae. I'm actually dreaming about her now. So, yeah, consider this my love confession.
I was thinking about this show like always and something came to my mind, Sunjae loves Sol for Sol, like even if it's the past her or the present her, he loves her all the same, but Sol loves all the different versions of Sunjae in every timeline. Difference caused by her, only she can change him, he wasn't severely depressed during the second timeline because Sol gave him hope, like their love is so poetic and beautiful... I hope my babies can be happy for the next 6 episodes tbh, I don't even care about the plot I just want them to be happy!
Although I am totally against the theory that Sunjae committed suicide, I do think he was severely depressed, he wasn't happy with his life. Sol's absence and her not remembering was just a cause for that. Thinking about the first timeline Sunjae and Sol hurts me so much, both of them fell in love at different times and with different ideas of each other. I know all the timeline is them just traveling through time, but the adult timeline will always be my favorite because Sunjae finally got his girl say out loud that she liked him as much as he liked her, which she wasn't brave enough to admit in any other timeline. I am so glad he figured how much she loves him in the college timeline.
Next eps are going to be a loser fest because the graduate from professional downbadism university is finally getting to date the love of his life (mine too tbh)
I made a small analysis about the change in their life
I think it's probably best for him not to pursue being an idol because he didn't seem to enjoy being a singer much. He mentioned wanting to retire early, which doesn't sound like someone who loves what they do.
In the first timeline, he was scouted in high school and missed out on going to college. He also dealt with depression due to Sol's absence and her not noticing him, and also guilt of what happened to her.
In the second timeline, he didn't experience the same level of depression because he had hope that Sol would eventually come back to him, which she did.
The third timeline is the most different, as now Sol and he both realize their feelings for each other, changing the course of their lives and free of any burden that they both have. Sunjae may go back to swimming or become a PE teacher though
I'm happy he chose to be with Sol rather than pursuing fame, as she is his dream.
Tbh if it weren't for that damn weirdo they could've ended up being happy for a long time. It's so hard seeing them both go through this cuz imagine you travel through time and space to save the man you love and saving the love of your life over and over again, while also going through her continuously ghosting you. I just want them to be happy tf?!??
