I gotta say, this drama is definitely up there as one of my favorites. I usually don't like watching shows as they air because I hate waiting, but I decided to give it a shot and ended up binge-watching all 8 episodes in just 2 days. I'm completely hooked on this show. It's a perfect mix of cute, angsty, and funny, and it's reignited my love for Kdramas. The plot, acting, and chemistry between the characters are all top-notch. I can't find a single flaw so far, and the comedy is just the cherry on top. This is hands down the best romcom of the year for me.

I didn't mind when you brought up the show. It's not everyone's cup of tea, but saying ZYX is terrible at acting wasn't really fair. She has actually improved a lot since she started. I didn't mean to be rude in my comment, I just don't like it when people criticize her acting abilities because she's actually a decent actress. The first episode was pretty cute with XJL and MCC, but it really hit me how much comfort she found in having someone who gets her work struggles. Finding out he was just faking it must've been tough for her. I totally relate to her. I'm excited to see her character development. I love dramas where women become independent. Hopefully, YZM will also go through some character growth. He seems like a straightforward guy who enjoys playing mind games with people. Can't wait to see more from him.

You know how some dramas go on and on about the cast being "close friends," but you don't really buy it?? Well, with this one, you can totally tell they're tight.
My favorite thing about the show was Yuxi's performance She was paired with actors outside her usual crew, but she totally owned it. It's like "South Wind Knows" was her acting boot camp. You can't watch this and say she's a bad actress. She just needed the right director and script, and this show delivered.
Sure, it's not without its flaws, but c'mon, this isn't meant to be some deep, thought-provoking drama. It's just good old goofy fun with a side of romance and mystery. The serious bits are there, but they don't stick around for long, which is fine by me.
Take that rock climbing scene, for example. Who expects a show where the main character has superpowers to have realistic action sequences? Not me! And that's the beauty of it. It's all about suspending disbelief and having a blast.
So, if you're looking for something light, fun, and not too heavy on the brain cells, this is the show for you. If not, no worries, plenty of other options out there.

Actually most of the criticism against the drama is something they admit as faults in the end. It’s one of the first dramas i have seen in which they outright called out themselves. Which made me love this one a lot more. Sorry it didn’t suit your taste tho

i think time travel/reincarnation/supernatural aspect doesn't work well with modern dramas , the producer found a new way which is make the Fl write a novel about the whole thing and then they meet at the end again. you can see it happening in lots of supernatural romcom cdramas like day of becoming you. So yes they meet for the first time and what we saw was a story, although i think they original story doesn't involve this aspect.
