This was so good, like the good old times kind of good. So nice to see Oguri Shun in something romantic again. And Akanishi! A whole new generation of fangirls are about to come. We need more ara-foo romcoms! I'm definitely here for it.

Oh wow thank you! I already watched it somewhere (I don't remember anymore where I found it though haha) but this is a greta site suggestion for future use, so thanks a lot!
Big Nanao fan here, so I was so happy to see her in something again. And I loved this role for her. Not one of her badass roles as usual, so it was a breath of fresh air. But she was still badass in playing the unapologetically unaware 'talentless' Takano. A wholesome drama about being as you are no matter what work you do. It gave a talentless person like me some hope. Plus it's super fun. Nanao is so funny I just love her. We need her in more comedies.
I'm convinced that Yazawa Ai was inspired by this for NANA. And every girl bffs-living-together kind drama that followed as well. Because Yumiko and Kanna surely mothered.
I always knew that Nakamori Akina was a badass, but this was her first acting performance I saw, and it didn't disappoint. Perfect casting for both of them.
The men on the other hand... they were literally just "Kens". (90s J-Drama sure lacked in 'handsome' male leads (besides KimuTaku I guess), because ain't no way they both fell for that loser Kazuya). The irony of both male leads having less and less lead roles and then ending up both playing PE teachers! (One on Gokusen, and one on Stand Up!)
The ending was so unnecessary, they had no business to turn this wholesome story about female sisterhood into such a drama...but oh well.
Stil, Akkina and Yasuda Narumi, you will always be famous!
have you watched all of this cuz i have a question regarding it
Ah, no unfortunately not. I think I made the list for myself because I wanted to start watching it, but I never did haha I think they were hard to find, I don't know how it is now, it's been a while since I searched for episodes of the series.
Just in the middle of ep 1 and had to pause to comment. This has some 2000s drama vibes with the comedy. Alice-chan is so cute and funny. The story is pretty close to home for me personally, so I was a bit worried to watch, but it's so light and fun, I like it already!
PS: What I always think whenever I watch them, the Hirose sisters have some great genes, it's so unfair! xD
I'm surprised they were able to make such a bold drama that shows the (bad) effects the American military base has on the locals, without any objections by the US Army. So really hats off. It's also pretty informative in that sense. I had heard some stuff but wasn't this well informed. The plot is also pretty gripping. Waiting for the last episode, I hope it comes fast haha.
Was waiting for a drama that is similar to Konya Sukiyaki da yo from last drama season so I started this. The having meals with friends part and living together is the same, but it's not as good, because I loved Konya Sukiyaki. But this was just the first episode so I will continue and see how this evolves.
My favorite drama of his drama season! Wholesome, soft, cute, jus feel-good. Would recommend it to anyone who's looking for something light-hearted and relaxing.
Also are all bromances this toxic? Well, KimuTaku sure makes it look hot...
but what the hell was that ending?!
